I recently was on a trip to Avon, Indiana for work and usually book through a booking app. I made a couple of reservations which offered free cancellation due to the fact that I was not informed at that point of the venue location I was doing work for. When I found out that location I cancelled the reservations that were not close and completely forgot that when booking Fairfield Inn in Avon that I did so direct, and not through my usual booking app. So I made a huge mistake and thought I had cancelled the extra rooms, all of which I did through my app, and it slipped my mind completely that I booked the Fairfield through the website. It wasn't until the money was withdrawn from my debit account the day after my trip that I realized what I had done. I know there is a cancellation policy in place, but I honestly made a mistake and ask if there's any way possible I could get a refund or partial refund? I called and they said the room had been filled, so it was paid for regardless of if I cancelled or did not show. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
