Hi my name is Shirlei and I mistakenly booked my staying at holiday inn express Scarborough for October ** checked in on October ** instead. I talked to the manager in person and he guaranteed expedia would give me my money back since the hotel won't charge for cancellations. I have already canceled my staying over the expedia automated service but I was advised I won't have my refund back. This is his the hotel's manager e-mail confirming I should get my money back:**Dear Shirlei,**We have not charged you. Your reservation on our end has been cancelled without penalty. Since you made your reservation with Expedia, they could have charged. You can request Expedia to contact us or share this Email response with them.
