Good day, *My name is Ilouwna le Roux and I’ve tried to resolve the following issue since ****. **Last year September my aunt graciously bought me a ticket from Seoul, South Korea to Johannesburg, South Africa to surprise my family I haven’t seen in two years. As this was Chuseok in South Korea, roads were busy and Airport busses (as I’m reliant on public transport) were full after I stopped working. Thus said I got on a bus and missed my flight whilst I was in traffic on my way to the airport. **When I called the airline contact number at Seoul Airport they told me I should just buy another ticket as there aren’t any Etihad flights out on that weekend after the one is missed. They also informed me that even if I arrived I wouldn’t have been permitted to board the plane because my Beneficiary (my aunt) didn’t verify the payment and therefor I wouldn’t have been able to get on to the plane that night. **My aunt informed me that she didn’t get the correspondence about the credit card and that I should ask for a refund into her card. The representatives I’ve talked to since then assured me that the refund is possible, but it might not be the full amount because of a penalty fee. **Since my correspondence with a couple of customer care representatives and trying to get this ball in motion, nothing has been done. A customer care representative who I spoke with a couple of weeks ago informed me that when I first talked to someone they noted all my grievances but neglected to process the refund. Meanwhile my aunt’s auditors have noticed that there aren’t any money traces for the refund and asked me to look into it. I can’t afford to pay her back all this money and therefore I spent so much money talking to customer care and still nothing has happened. I would like it if someone could please help me with this as soon as possible. The following details pertains to the flight I’ve missed: **Passenger: Ilouwna le Roux *Booking reference: NXWBIH*eTicket receipt: **************Flight date: ** September *****Beneficiary: Maryna Fedeli*Email address: *****@***.com **I feel if this was processed the first day I started this, which was the early mornings of the ** of September ****, this process wouldn’t have taken so long. Please help me out so that I can refund some of the money my aunt lost on this. * *The last person I talked to was: Voja at the European accounts. He promised to email and call me about a follow up and I’m still waiting. **Thank you in advance
