I spent over $6k on a sofa, ottoman, and 2 custom pillows from Ethan Allen. Despite having their designer assist with measurements and design choices, the sofa didn't fit into my bedroom upon delivery. Even though the ottoman and pillows had been delivered separately, the issue with the sofa was not resolved. When discussing options with the designer, including removing the sofa's legs, I was met with resistance about receiving any kind of discount. The lack of communication and delay in addressing my concerns has left me extremely dissatisfied. After requesting a refund for all items and expressing my frustration, I am still waiting for a resolution. I am hoping to get a full refund and have the ottoman picked up since it doesn't fit in my car. The lack of follow-up and customer service from Ethan Allen has been disappointing.

I bought multiple furniture pieces from Ethan Allen 7 years ago and have had ongoing issues. The sofa's cushions were improperly stuffed, requiring EA to come back three times for adjustments. The wooden frame of the coffee table kept chipping and required multiple repairs, never looking the same. The sleeper sofa broke twice, costing me a substantial amount for the replacement. Now, after two years, it has broken again. I am disappointed and no longer considering replacing it with Ethan Allen furniture in the future. Regards, Jean Perri Aquino

I placed an order for a quick ship couch on 9/23/[redacted], but it has not arrived as of 1/3/[redacted]. The Huntington New York store where I made the purchase keeps giving me different time frames, and I am frustrated with the lack of consistency. I opted for the quick ship option due to needing the furniture promptly, but it has been 15 weeks already, and I am now being told it will be another 4 weeks. Waiting 20 weeks for a sofa that was promised in 4-6 weeks is unreasonable, even considering the pandemic. Other custom furniture orders from different retailers placed on the same day have all been delivered months ago, making this customer experience even more disappointing for me. Hello, I'm Mark Taft. After much consideration, I decided to invest in an Ethan Allen sofa and love seat. The total cost exceeded $8,[redacted], making it a significant purchase for us. We eagerly awaited the delivery of our pieces in July and were very pleased with the customer sales, service, and delivery experience. However, shortly after receiving the furniture, I noticed a discrepancy between the seat cushions of the sofa and love seat. The sofa felt firm, while the love seat was more plush. Despite ordering a firm option, the cushions did not match in comfort. Subsequent communication with the store revealed that different cushions were used, resulting in a noticeable difference in appearance. The store is addressing the issue by sending firm cushions, but the leather on the love seat is already creased, giving it a worn look. I have provided photos and am seeking either replacement leather covers for the cushions to match or a 10% refund to compensate for the aesthetic discrepancy.

My spouse and I placed an order for a table at the Arlington, TX Ethan Allen Store last September [redacted]. Initially, we were informed by the sales representative that it would be delivered in January [redacted]. However, after signing the agreement, the delivery date was moved to mid to late February [redacted]. Recently, we received a call pushing the delivery to the end of March or mid-April, with the possibility of further delays. Despite our request to cancel the order, we were informed by the sales rep that it's not feasible. We've been loyal customers with purchases exceeding $20K and now seek a full refund of our deposit due to the extended delays. While we understand the industry challenges, we cannot wait much longer for our dining table. We are eager to find a resolution to this matter.

I have been trying to resolve an issue with the store that ordered lighting for me last year without success. After waiting six months for a lighting and furniture order, it was delivered to our vacation home in Nantucket during our stay. Despite clear instructions for the delivery, they did not follow them. When I found the note they left later, I immediately contacted the store and the delivery company, who were still on the island but refused to return for the delivery. Two months later, when they tried delivering again, we were not there. Now that we are back, one of the items does not fit the intended space, yet the store refuses to take it back, claiming it's beyond their control. I find this unfair, as it was their chosen shipping company's mistake. The store manager refuses to communicate with me or provide me with the contact information for the decision-maker. I have politely asked for a higher authority but only received a general sales email. I own multiple businesses and understand the importance of good customer service. I would appreciate speaking to someone with the authority to resolve this matter promptly.
