Order Number: CUR[redacted] Order Date: 24-04-[redacted], 14:32 I received the £[redacted] cooker last Saturday, 29/04/[redacted], but it arrived damaged and faulty. The exchange, scheduled for Thursday 04/05/[redacted], was also delayed due to a damaged replacement. I am frustrated as this means being without a cooker for nearly a week. Given the lack of concern shown, I have contacted AO for a replacement tomorrow. I will be canceling my order with Curry's and going with AO instead. This whole experience has been disappointing, with no attempts to make amends or even refund the delivery charge. I now have to organize the cancellation with the manufacturer myself. Moving forward, I will not be ordering from Curry's again due to the poor customer service and lack of care, especially for disabled customers like me.

My dishwasher, under a repair contract with you and less than 12 months old, broke down. After waiting over 2 weeks for your engineers to come assess the issue, they deemed the machine irreparable. It has been over 3 weeks since then, and we are still waiting for a replacement. This whole situation is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The engineers who came to our home seemed inexperienced and unprepared. On a positive note, the lady at the domestic products department has always been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Please pass on our gratitude to her. Unfortunately, the recent service experience has been subpar, and it's affecting our long-standing loyalty of over 20 years.

Your delivery service experience seems frustrating. Upon attempting to deliver your order, the driver encountered an issue with your address being part of a complex. Despite offers for assistance, the delivery was not successful. The parcel was then left at the local collection point. You tried to cancel the order due to medical reasons preventing you from collecting it, but were informed it couldn't be cancelled as it was in the delivery process. It appears there was miscommunication regarding the status of your order and the inability to collect the parcel.

I bought a Tefal GV971 3GO on 18/05/23 at Branch [redacted] Hanworth. Whenever I use it, the whole room becomes like a steam room. I returned it to the branch on 6/07/23, but they refused to give me a replacement or refund since it was over 30 days old. The manager, Syed, was unhelpful and left a shop worker to handle my concern. They suggested repairing it, which I reluctantly agreed to, but now I have been informed it will take over 3 weeks. Both the shop's Customer Service and Tefal instructed me to resolve it in-store. After trying to make an official complaint, I was given case number CC[redacted] and told I would receive a call within 48 hours, but I'm still waiting. I have always been satisfied with Tefal steam generators and spent a considerable amount on this upgrade, expecting the same satisfaction. I am disappointed by the treatment I received. Despite trying to contact them daily for a week, I have been unable to reach anyone. I had to buy a small iron from another store as I cannot go without an iron for nearly a month, making this a costly ordeal.

Hello, I purchased a Ninja Foodi Air Fryer OP350UK on 01.12.[redacted]. Unfortunately, this machine is not well-sealed, and a lot of greasy air escapes even though we use minimal grease or fat. We solely use it for air frying or roasting. My friend has the same product, which appears to have a better seal. In accordance with the terms and conditions, I am requesting a replacement or refund. My customer number is [redacted]6, and the order number is CUR[redacted]10. I collected this item from the now-closed Currys store in Winchester. I have attempted to contact customer service but have been unable to reach a representative. I also tried calling Currys in Hedge End, Southampton, with no success. Please provide guidance.

I purchased a Haier washing machine with a four-year extended care plan. When it suddenly stopped working, I contacted Curry's care plan "KNOWHOW" on Sunday, August 6, [redacted]. It took 49 minutes for my call to be answered. I spoke with a representative named Uhar who scheduled a visit for August 10, [redacted]. Despite explaining that I couldn't work that day as a locum and would lose over £[redacted], I received an SMS rescheduling the appointment to the following Friday, August 11, [redacted]. After waiting on hold for 70 minutes at 14:28 and 50 minutes at 17:59, I finally spoke with a customer service representative named Syle or Fyle at 18:50. She informed me there was no guarantee the engineer would come and that the wait times could range from 45 minutes to over [redacted] minutes. I expressed my disappointment at potentially losing more money due to the rescheduled appointment and hope for compensation for my losses. I await a response. Thank you.

I purchased a Beko gas hob last Saturday. I was promised that I could request an LPG conversion kit. I called Beko the same day and was advised to provide a safety statement, to which I agreed. They mentioned they would call me back regarding the missing clamps and gasket on the ex-display hob, but no call came. They explained that high workload meant uncertain call-back timing. I had bought two ovens, a splashback, and the hob at Currys that day. I am extremely disappointed. It would have been useful to know that the gas hob I purchased was made in [redacted]. Well done, Currys Ipswich. What will I do when my new ovens arrive, my old cooker is taken away, and I have no hob?

I recently purchased TWO ovens in the last year and had them both professionally installed. I am pleased with the service I received, especially from the team that handled the installation. Thank you for the great job. However, I am not willing to leave a review for Curry’s at an additional cost, as I did after my first purchase. Shouldn’t good service be expected from all sellers? I have 34 years of experience in the retail industry, and it appears that even though I declined, Curry’s insists on sending SMS review requests that come at a cost to customers. The "Good Service" I paid for recently on the 1st of September - which included delivery, installation, and old oven removal - amounted to £[redacted] on top of the oven's price. I will be more cautious when considering paying extra for "good service" from Curry’s in the future.

Good morning, I received my order on Friday, September 8th, including the HAIER Cube 90 fridge freezer. Unfortunately, the fridge was damaged during delivery, resulting in a white scratch on the black exterior. I initially agreed to a 10% refund offered by the delivery person, assuming the scratch could be easily removed. However, attempts to remove it failed, and we had to touch up the paint with black paint. Looking back, I don't feel that a 10% refund is sufficient, especially since we just had a new kitchen installed and the scratch is very noticeable. I believe a 25% refund would be more appropriate. Additionally, I have not seen the 10% refund reflected in my account yet (paid in full by Mastercard). I am eager to hear your response. Kind regards, Paul Wolstencroft

I am frustrated with this company. I purchased a washing machine from the St. Helens Shop and was promised delivery on Friday, the 22nd, as stated on my bill of sale. However, they changed the delivery date to Monday the 25th without notifying me. This experience has been disappointing, and I will not be making any future purchases from them. Following the passing of my husband, I bought a TV online but have been dissatisfied with its picture quality. Despite numerous attempts via webchat, addressing this issue has been unsuccessful. After speaking with Nitesh, I reached out via email but was directed elsewhere. My attempts via webchat have yielded no progress. I'm keen on resolving this promptly, considering the passing time. I wish to return the TV and upgrade, covering the price difference. I'm feeling overwhelmed and distressed, so I hope someone can take charge of this matter. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I am 86 years old and finding it overwhelming to deal with this. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach a representative. I received a letter stating that my cooker cover needs to be renewed on 22nd November. I was under the impression that I should have one more cooker valet before renewing. I am considering sending a cheque for payment, but I cannot locate a specific reference number on the letter, except for the numbers below my address. Could you please provide me with clarification? Am I eligible for another cooker valet before renewal, and which number should I select for the renewal process? Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated.

This, in addition to the early malfunction, has left me with no faith in the product, unlike the positive experience I've had with our other two Samsung TVs purchased from your store. I recently had a dishwasher installed by Currys in my home, but unfortunately, the pipe connection was not done correctly. As a result, there has been a significant leak that has damaged multiple areas in my house. I am currently working overseas and have tried to resolve this issue by contacting their helpline. However, they have informed me that since I made the purchase in-store, I need to physically go to the store to request assistance. Despite my attempts, they have not provided me with a store contact number. I urgently need a technician to revisit my home and have someone from Currys assess the extensive damage to the floors, carpets, walls, and ceilings. Hello. I purchased an air fryer around October 5th with an expected delivery by Evri. Unfortunately, it did not arrive within the specified time frame. After a week, I checked the tracking and it indicated that the item was returned to the sender. I waited a bit longer, but there has been no sign of a refund. I've reached out to Currys three times, but they are refusing to issue a refund since they claim they haven't received the item back. Additionally, I've been unable to get in touch with Evri. It's been a full month now, and I am extremely disappointed at the prospect of not receiving a refund.

On Tuesday, November 19th, I ordered a Bosch Tumble Dryer with the assurance it would arrive between 8:15 and 12:15 on Saturday, November 4th. However, I received a message on Friday evening stating the delivery would be between 7:15 and 10:15, and despite being ready, the delivery did not take place. I found out through Track and Trace at 9 am that the driver was on the 7th delivery and allegedly attempted to deliver at 8 am but claimed they couldn't enter due to an issue with a gate or reach me by phone, which was false as the gate was functioning correctly and I did not receive a call. After multiple calls to Curry's customer service, I was assured the driver would try to return at the end of the route or contact me by 4 pm, but neither happened. I was then informed the delivery was rescheduled for today, Monday, November 6th, and despite tracking it since 7 am, there have been no updates besides "Delivery Scheduled." After discussing leaving for a holiday soon, I was advised the delivery had been moved to Friday, November 10th, which was inconvenient as I needed it this weekend. I requested delivery on the 7th or 8th, ideally tomorrow or Wednesday before my trip. I was promised compensation and hope for a resolution soon.

I placed an order for product OrderCUR[redacted] from Carol Slade at 17 Sadlers Way, Hertford, SG142DZ. I made the purchase on the 2nd of November at Curry’s in Stevenage. The delivery was supposed to be on the 9th of November. Unfortunately, the delivery attempts were made on the 4th and 6th when we were unable to receive the item. As a result, the delivery did not happen on the 9th, and now they claim to have returned it to the sender. This caused us to cancel the installation, causing a lot of frustration. Could you please advise on the next steps we should take?

I returned a cooker to your company on October 14, [redacted], and I am still waiting for a refund of £[redacted]. I made the purchase in my local store and paid using my credit card. The store informed me that the refund needed to be processed by the head office and could take up to 14 working days. It has now been over 25 working days, and I have not received the refund. This delay has caused me to incur interest on my credit card, which is frustrating as the refund should have been issued by now. If I do not receive a full refund within the next three working days, I will escalate the issue to the Small Claims Court. Please address this matter promptly. My name is Mrs. P Dawes.

I had a Hisense washing machine delivered on 12/8/23. After removing the transit bolts and installing it, I noticed the wash cycles were longer and it was noisy during spinning. Unfortunately, the machine started moving during the spin cycle, making it difficult for me to keep it in place due to my MS-related left-side weakness. It even displayed fault codes like water fill and FO8. Despite trying antivibration feet and foam pads, the machine continued to move excessively. The final straw was when it got stuck at the fabric softener phase today. I contacted Currys, but they refused a return since it had been more than 14 days. The Hisense customer service offered an engineer visit on 27/11, which was too long for my medical need. Considering the unreliability, I just want the machine removed and hesitate to get a replacement.
