I have a Know How policy with the code BFWMJPTP. Last week, I contacted customer services to schedule an engineer visit for my Indesit washing machine. They initially provided me with a date of Monday, September 14th, and mentioned that I would receive a text the day before with a 3-hour time slot. However, no text notification was received. Eventually, on Wednesday, September 16th, I got a text about the appointment. The phone line quality was poor when I called [redacted]0, so I switched to live chat to communicate. As per my policy, an engineer should arrive within 24 to 48 hours, and if a fix is not possible, a new machine should be provided. I suspect they might replace the drum once more, as it was previously changed in May [redacted].

I placed an order for a TV last Thursday and scheduled delivery for the next day, yet I received a notice the following day stating the delivery would be pushed to the next Friday instead. I visited the Aberdeen branch at Berryden Retail Park looking for a Toshiba 32-inch TV. Unfortunately, they were out of stock, but an assistant offered to order one for me for delivery within 7 days. I proceeded with the purchase, providing my details and payment. When I inquired about a receipt, I was told it would be emailed to me. However, I have not received it yet. Upon visiting the branch again, it seems there might have been a mistake with the email address provided. I have been trying to contact the given number but keep getting disconnected. I placed an online order and paid £[redacted].00 for a refrigerator-freezer with installation and old appliance recycling. The delivery was on schedule, but the fitters claimed the job couldn't be completed. The new appliance remained in the van, and the order was canceled. After numerous attempts, I finally got the refund processed via social media, but it will take 14 days. A kitchen installer mentioned that most 50/50 fridge freezers should fit with minor adjustments, contrary to what the fitter stated. Although I hope the refund is being processed, I believe Currys should offer a goodwill gesture due to the delay in refund and the need to settle my card balance before the refund is credited.

Hello, I purchased a Hisense fridge/freezer from your Enniskillen, N. Ireland store on 30/08/[redacted]. Despite being delivered on 09/09/20, it did not work. After contacting customer service, I was directed to a third-party repair provider for Hisense. The earliest appointment available was on 30/09/20 which felt unreasonable. Hence, I spoke to the manager at the Enniskillen store, who provided an uplift code. However, as they had no fridge/freezers available for a timely delivery, I requested a refund. The fridge was collected on 23/09/[redacted], but the collection team damaged my floor and front door surround. Their acknowledgment led me to contact Customer Services, yet I am still awaiting a response and my refund. I am disappointed by the lack of service received, including time wasted visiting the store, awaiting phone calls, and the inconvenience of a non-functioning appliance resulting in food wastage. I purchased a SHARK cleaner for £[redacted] using PayPal online. Upon receiving it, I found it to be too heavy for my wife and I, both of us being 80 years old. I contacted customer service via email but was prompted to call instead. After a long wait, on September 25th, [redacted], I spoke to an inexperienced representative and arranged for a pickup on September 28th, [redacted], between 9 am and 5 pm. However, the pickup did not occur as scheduled.

I tried calling the phone number on your website regarding my cooker cover renewal, but the new number had a wait time of over 45 minutes, which is unacceptable. The person I eventually spoke with seemed unaware of my query, and I cannot spend half a day waiting for assistance. I tried multiple times but faced the same issue with long wait times. Unfortunately, I can't check or pay online as I prefer a one-time payment of £35 over 10 months. I'll remember not to buy any care plans from Currys in the future.

I am frustrated with the lack of resolution regarding my repaired tax. This is my second email and approximately the 10th phone call with long hold times. My original order number is CUR[redacted], and the repair number is [redacted]. Despite my attempts to organize a return, I am informed that my TV has already been delivered, which is not true. The company refuses to disclose the delivery address. As a single parent of three, I trusted the repair department with my TV, and now I am left without it. I recently bought a Samsung washing machine from your Bridgwater branch. The Samsung WW90J5456 FW model, as displayed in the store and confirmed by your assistant, Mat, promised a five-year warranty covering parts and labor. This warranty duration was a crucial factor in my decision to purchase the machine. However, upon installation and reviewing the paperwork, it became apparent that the warranty is only valid for two years, not the promised five. Could you please correct this error by providing the correct five-year warranty (parts and labor) as initially indicated by your sales assistant? Thank you. I recently purchased the HONEYCOMB - Alpha Yoke & Switch Panel Flight Controls in Black & Red with the product code [redacted]. I received the delivery on August 29, [redacted], with reference CUR[redacted]. Upon setting it up for my flight sim on Monday, I noticed some buttons were not working correctly. After reaching out to Honeycomb's U.S. base and proving the issue with a video, they confirmed the fault but directed me to their European base in Germany. Areosoft GmbH in Germany also verified the defect and advised me to seek a refund from the shop of purchase, Curry’s. I declined a replacement from Curry’s and requested a full refund, which they initially agreed to process within 7-10 business days. However, as of September 23, I still had not received the refund, and Curry’s informed me they require the product back before issuing a refund. Despite attempting to contact Areosoft for assistance without success, I have now sought guidance from Citizens Advice Bureaux to help resolve this matter promptly.

I am dissatisfied with the extended wait time and the inability to reach the call center after waiting for 55 minutes. I request either a replacement iPad, a cash refund to my account, or a voucher to be sent promptly. The service provided so far has been inadequate and I seek a resolution urgently.

I recently visited your store in Burton-on-Trent. During our 15-minute visit, we were not approached by any staff members. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I approached an assistant who was helping another customer. She mentioned she was alone and would assist us shortly. Despite this, after waiting an additional 10 minutes without any help, we decided to leave. I must express my disappointment with the lack of service we experienced during our time at the store.

Hello, I purchased a Beko fridge freezer and included payment for the collection of our old fridge for recycling. Unfortunately, the old fridge wasn't picked up because the tenants hadn't prepared it for collection and were informed incorrectly that it could be done later. I've now paid the Council to dispose of it. I've contacted customer service to request a refund of £20 for the missed collection but haven't received a response yet. I would like to file a complaint regarding the service I received from Currys Knowhow. After waiting on the phone for nearly two hours, I finally got through, but unfortunately, I could not understand the gentleman on the phone. I asked him to repeat himself, but I still could not grasp what he was saying. Eventually, he suggested I call back or he couldn't assist me. I expressed my frustration as I had already waited for so long to get through initially. I requested for him to call me back, but he refused. He then asked me another question which I couldn't comprehend, leading to him abruptly ending the call. The service was appalling, and I found the representative to be rude. I'd appreciate it if someone from Currys could contact me at 0[redacted] to resolve the issue. I recently purchased a new fridge in July, which is now not functioning properly.

I bought a 50-inch Panasonic TV model TX-50HX58 OB on 14/09/20 at 3:59 PM from your Sealand Road store in Chester. The salesperson named Antonio, operator number 59, assured me that this model came with FREESAT pre-installed. However, upon the arrival of our TV engineer, we discovered that the TV did not have FREESAT but was instead a FREE to AIR model. After spending over an hour on the phone with your technical department in Preston, we were instructed to return the TV. Dennis from your distribution center guaranteed us a replacement with FREESAT. When the new TV arrived on 29/09/20, it was the exact same model, which we refused to accept. We requested a refund and were initially told to return to the Sealand Road store in Chester. Due to my husband's vision impairment, we couldn't travel easily, but Karen was able to arrange a refund for us from the store. We've since taken our business elsewhere and do not plan to shop at Currys again. Your feedback and apology would be appreciated.

I am looking for the contact details of your complaints department. I have tried to locate it, but it seems to be hidden. I have come across various complaints about Curry's online that appear to be ignored, which is unprofessional. I would like to file a complaint about a manager at the Skegness store named Gary. I purchased a faulty product, and Gary informed me they needed the serial number from the receipt, which I later found out wasn't included. He incorrectly stated the store's closing time, causing me unnecessary inconvenience. Despite searching for the serial number on all the paperwork, it was not there. A salesperson eventually helped me locate the serial number on the product itself, but due to my physical limitations, it was challenging for me to read it. I find it concerning that Gary misled me about the necessary paperwork and its contents. The faulty electrical product poses a safety risk, and I believe it violates consumer protection laws. As there is a contract between Curry's and me, I expect a full refund and the retrieval of the faulty product due to the manager's unhelpful behavior. Thank you, C.Dennis

I purchased a Hotpoint tumble dryer on the 5th of October and received it on the 20th. Unfortunately, upon using it for the first time on the 24th, I noticed it is faulty. The motor thuds on every rotation and doesn't reverse rotate. I've been trying to reach customer service without success. When I called [redacted]4, I was redirected to Whirlpool, but no representatives were available. I bought the item from Curry's and prefer a replacement to dealing with a warranty claim. Approximately 18 months ago, we bought a Kenwood range cooker from your store, which included installation. Unfortunately, the main oven's thermostat has malfunctioned, and even though the warranty has expired, we sought a local repair company for a quote. They informed us that based on the serial number, the cooker is between 12 to 15 years old. They recommended against repairing it due to potential damage to gas fittings. Considering the age discrepancy, we suspect we may have been sold "new old stock" without proper disclosure. Paying £[redacted] for a cooker that only lasted two years is disappointing, given its well-maintained condition and light usage. We would appreciate your insights on this matter and inquire whether you can offer a replacement or repair solution.

I purchased a fridge freezer on October 27th with a scheduled delivery for the next day, October 28th. I paid £50 for a delivery slot from 1pm to 5pm. The delivery reference is [redacted]. Unfortunately, the delivery men arrived after 5pm at 5:20pm and left at 5:40pm, making the delivery 40 minutes late. I attempted to contact customer service regarding this issue but found the menu system confusing and difficult. After finally speaking to someone, they mentioned speaking to a manager but then abruptly ended the call. Subsequent attempts to follow up were frustrating, with the call being disconnected three times. I am disappointed with the poor customer service and lack of acknowledgment of the delayed delivery, leading me to reconsider future purchases from Curry's.
