Hi Currys, our washing machine became irreparable just before our holiday last week. We really needed another machine as soon as we got back from camping (with lots of dirty clothes) so went into Curry's Worcester as we saw you do next day delivery. This was on **th September at **am. We ordered a Hoover HL****** with the hope it would be delivered either on **th or **th September when we got back. In fact the arrangement was for pm on **th which made my wife have to rearrange her plans to visit her parents in order to wait in for the delivery, which was confirmed by text on **th. Our ref number was**********. My wife received a telephone call mid afternoon on **th saying the delivery van had broken down. The next date they could deliver when either my wife or myself would be around would be **th October as we both work and are not usually around on Saturdays. I phoned Currys (and after a ** minute wait) spoke to an advisor who then told me he couldn't help and put me through to deliveries. After another wait I spoke to another advisor and asked if it was possible to collect an identical machine from our nearest store (Taunton- about * miles away). He checked and said that the same machine was in stock. We then drove to Taunton store and a helpful man checked and there was one in stock....after a ** minute wait he came back to say the one in stock was 'graphite' not white (our other equipment is all white) so I finally gave up on Currys and asked for a refund. We were not helped by the advisor telling us that if we again wanted Currys to deliver and install at a specific timeslot we would still be charged even though we were in all afternoon. I am very disappointed in Currys. All we needed was a washing machine, and apart from the extra phone calls, driving to Taunton and the stress involved, we still felt we had to go somewhere else (Argos!) to get a reasonable service. An apology would be nice for all the inconvenience and stress you have caused today.*Regards*Mr. Trevor Goss
