I have a Kindle Fire which is unrepairable - under the know how guarantee I can exchange it for a new one. My concern is that as it keeps crashing I can't sign out of my accounts so am worried that if it gets into the wrong hands my details could be accessed (not really sure how old tablets are disposed of). Store staff are not very helpful. I've recently spent time in hospital and found that it's fine for playing games and was wondering if I would be able to keep this instead of surrendering it even if I have to pay a nominal sum.
