On **.**.**** I went to Currys Harlow branch and purchased the Samsung **HU**** UHD TV which was the flagship TV at the time on the recommendation of the member of staff. (Receipt No ******, Till *, Time **:**, Staff: Jonathon) The reason for the recommendation was the it was "Future Proof" as it had a separate evolution kit which could be upgraded in the coming years to keep the TV up to date with the latest advances. Paying £**** for the TV, it made economic sense to do this to avoid expensive future purchases. Since that day, Samsung have not produced any Evolution Kit upgrades for this TV living it lagging in ****. I have contacted Samsung and raised the complaint*issue with them about the lack of it being future ready. They have said the issue sits with Currys and the Harlow staff as they recommended it to me. As such, I strongly believe I have been miss sold this TV and its so called future benefits in order to get a £**** sale. Samsung have confirmed they are not making and more Evolution Kits for the UK market and the TV is now obsolete. My complaint centres around the misspelling of the Tv to me and it's "future benefits". Research has shown that others with TV's of this type (Evolution Kits) have received refunds or exchanges to the original purchase price. A civil action in the USA has such a case as well as across the European Union. I hope that you can agree that £**** for a TV is a large and expensive purchase and only completed on the high recommendation of the Curry's staff. I am seek either a refund for Tv due to miss selling or an exchange for a TV of the same value. I feel very strongly about this as you can imagine and would seek legal advice*civil action via a County Court if we can not agree on the best way forward for myself and Curry's in the long run. The total purchase on that day was £****. I went to Curry's due to its customer service and knowledge. Please don't let me down.
