We recently purchased a tv from Curry’s, along with installation and signed up for virgin via the cash back deal (we purchased the full house deal, qualifying for £*** cash back).**Since doing so, we have had numerous issues with the tv delivery and installation, as well as problems claiming the cash back.***. The tv was damaged prior to delivery, so delivery was dela*** by a day. This wouldn’t have been an issue, but installation was booked for the following day - we were ***ured that the tv and installation would be done by the same team (confirmed through * separate calls to the knowhow team). When the tv arrived, the team were unable to complete a wall installation. Following several calls, we arranged installation two days later. This was completed, but was exceptionally wonky, and led to another team needing to return the following week. They then damaged our tv stand by dropping things repeatedly on it. (This issue has been resolved however we wanted it noted in context of our second complaint).***. Cash back. We only purchased the tv through Curry’s because of this deal, as we already wished to sign up for the virgin full house package. We followed the instructions, and then tried to complete the online form. We were unable to do so as the website refused to accept our ‘package order number’. Several emails later, we were asked to wait * days and try again. We did, and successfully filled out the form only to receive a notification that said we were only en***led to £*** cash back as we had signed up to the ‘player bundle’. I have emailed the promotion team, who despite me attaching copies of our online account confirming we have the full house deal, refuse to accept this and insist we are only owed £***. We are unable to share the initial sign up email as simply digital took down the wrong email address (& account surname), and are unable to resend this. Please can you sort out payment of the outstanding £***?**We have spent a huge amount of time on the phone and emailing about delivery, installation, damage and now finally the cash back. This is hugely frustrating, not to mention a waste of time, when this should have been a smooth process, resulting in a properly installed (straight) tv, without damage to our property and correct cash back - not to mention, without time and money being wasted on calling and emailing Curry’s. We will not be purchasing from you in the future.
I trust that Currys will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
