I just purchased a replacement for my old **-cup programmable coffeemaker - it’s my third one so I do love *this product. I purchased it through Amazon and registered it on Friday of this past week with the text code. *The lid does not fit on the carafe. Fortunately I had kept my old carafe and lid as a back up in case something ever *happened to the new carafe and I have had to use the old lid as three different adults could not make this lid fit *down on the top. My old lid works just fine so I am thinking there is a defect in this particular lid. Please replace this lid.
