Good morning, I am Gervase D. My electricity was disconnected due to financial troubles as I have been dealing with serious health issues. I am a Veteran undergoing treatment for Prostate cancer and a Heart aneurysm. Despite making regular payments, a delay in my heart surgery caused a hiccup, leading to a pause on my payments. My family is now willing to cover the outstanding amount to have the electricity restored promptly. I have been without electricity for 2 days and my health is at risk in this cold weather. There seems to be some confusion with my landlord in the bottom apartment, insinuating that I might have caused her lights to be turned off. I believe there might be an issue with how the apartments are connected regarding the electricity bills. My priority now is to clear the past due amount and have the electricity running to ensure my well-being.

We had a fire in our outside breaker box. Cleco came out, turned off the power, and instructed us to call them once the issue was fixed for restoration. The problem is resolved, but we cannot reach Cleco to restore power. My uncle, who is 73 years old, is without power. I would appreciate speaking with someone to get the power back on tonight. I am reaching out regarding the power being turned off while I was in the hospital due to a car accident on March 30th. Unfortunately, I couldn't retrieve my bills as I was rushed to the hospital. My husband checked on our home and learned the electricity was off. I explained the situation to a representative as my bills are on a payment plan but due to the accident, I missed checking my water and Wi-Fi bills. I requested more time due to upcoming appointments and needing electricity for my breathing machine. I have applied for assistance through an agency in Mansfield, Louisiana called the ILEAHP program. The worker handling my case is Kayla E. and she has my paperwork to process the grant. I am hopeful for a positive response as I am unable to pay $[redacted] by the 22nd.
