If you are looking for a refund you should call into the company as the best option is to talk with a representative about the charges. If it is fraud you should call in to cancel your card and request a refund.
The issue in GetHuman3992995's own words
I rented a car from Budget through Priceline. The contacted price for this one-day rental was $***.**. When I returned the car the same day it was picked up, my receipt showed a charge of $***.**. When I questioned this, I was told to contact priceline who told me that I needed to work this out with Budget and told me that they wouldn't help me resolve this. It turns out I was charged the daily rate plus an additional charge for time and mileage. If I knew this in advance I would have waited over night to return the car. It seems unfair that I returned the car early and this caused an additional fee. I waited a long time on hold with Budget which doesn't let you know the length of the hold or give an option for a call back. I'd appreciate any help you could offer. Thanks!

I travel regularly each year: four trips across country my air and many shorter trips along the east coast. I never faced an issue like this with Hertz and have lots of travel choices. My willingness to do business with Budget is predicated on a refund of the early return amount of $***.**. Thanks.
Spent a long time with Priceline but they would not help me at all and said it was a matter between me and Budget.
