I went to Bobs furniture on **-*-** at **** w Fullerton Ave (Lincoln Park). I made a purchase for a bedroom set (Vogue) and was told my delivery was for **-*-**. The salesman also said if they were able to deliver the set on **-*-** would that be a peoblem, I said no not at all. So he said they will call me Wednesday **-*-** if they were able to deliver it for **-*-**. He said I’m scheduled for sure on **-**-** (Tuesday) if not able for **-*-**. He said I will receive a phone call. Never received the call. On **-*-** I received a email saying that I need to contact bobs. Now, mind you on **-*-** I received email and I have the proof that my schedule delivery is for **-*-**. Well no I contacted that store and the lady who answer took my name and told me she will call me back once she look my order over. Ok now mind you I cleared out my old furniture to make sure I have the space for the delivery team. She calls back and was telling me that my order will not be ready because they didn’t put me in the system. Making all kind of excuses acting like it’s my fault etc. so I asked to speak to an available manager he didn’t want to come to the phone until I demanded he gets the phone to fix the issue. Well he said his name is Maurice he’s the general manager at that location for very rude, didn’t have a care in the world. Told me he’s going to call me back and never called back never checked to see if everything was ok nothing. He also made it seem like I was lying and didn’t have the correct telephone in the system when I clearly have the paperwork with the correct number. Well i called furious and this lady was so nice showed concern said I would receive half off the delivery. She said I would be credit for ***.**. Well I have not received the credit on my card yet. I called and ask how long it takes, they lady said one to two billing cycle. What? Really?! I’m very disappointed and can’t believe I wasted my time coming to bobs and will not let this get away. I will be calling corporate tomorrow morning. And I will let people know how you all do business just to get a sale. I’m going above with this. Thanks!
