Hello! I am currently residing in Mulege, BCS, Mexico, as a Canadian expat. The town has a single Bancomer bank with a few ATMs, but they often encounter issues with non-resident bank cards. I have successfully used ATMs in Santa Rosalia to withdraw from my accounts without any problems. I am curious if Banamex has considered conducting a feasibility study to potentially install an ATM in Mulege. The town attracts numerous American, Canadian, and other tourists who spend a significant portion of the year here. Having an ATM from Banamex could prove to be a profitable opportunity given the substantial expat population. I would appreciate any information on the possibility of Banamex establishing an ATM in Mulege. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards, C. A. Dionne

To whom it may concern: I am sharing my experience with Citibanamex spanning nearly two years. While shopping at Costco, a Citibanamex representative offered me a credit card that allowed twelve no-interest payments for any purchase. I obtained the card ([redacted][redacted]) to buy a television and faithfully made the payments as instructed. Surprisingly, after completing the payment term, I received calls from Citibanamex claiming I owed money. Despite struggles due to language barriers, only resolved by Anna Marquez who spoke English, and numerous visits and calls, the issue persisted. Costco clarified the purchase was mistakenly registered, generating interest. Ultimately, I paid to renew the card and clear the balance. However, ongoing calls alleging outstanding interest continued. Resolution attempts led to discovering the problem was unresolved despite assurances from Costco. I faced difficulties collecting the card due to the balance. This situation has resulted in extensive time wasted, amounting to a demand of 15,[redacted] pesos for restitution covering the card renewal and labor spent trying to resolve the issue. I expect payment via PayPal to [redacted] within 30 days. Your prompt attention to rectify this matter is appreciated. Sincerely, Dr. Lawrence Bakur

To Whom It May Concern, Yesterday, during our visit to Costa Maya from a cruise ship originating in the United States, we patronized La Catrina 1 gift shop. Upon making a purchase totaling USD $47, the staff converted the amount to [redacted] pesos, charging my VISA card $53.71. Despite displaying $47 on the receipt, the discrepancy in charges was concerning. The employees justified this by citing exchange rates, but numerous customers experienced similar issues. This raises suspicion about the integrity of your vendor's practices at Banamex. I urge you to investigate this fraudulent activity to protect unsuspecting tourists from potential exploitation. Thank you, Bruce C.

My Banamex debit card has expired, and I need a replacement. Unfortunately, when I visited the local branch, [redacted], they were not helpful and told me to contact the customer service center at [redacted]9. The automated message I heard when I called was too fast for me to understand with my limited Spanish skills and even too quick for Google Translate to assist. I have been a Banamex customer for 14 years. Without a new debit card, my account is of no use, and I may have to switch to another bank.
