Hello,**I’m a resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia, currently traveling in Spain, then elsewhere in Europe. **MY iPad Pro ** **** no longer recognizes power in, and will not charge. There is no lightning bolt beside the battery icon in the status bar, or a large battery icon on the lock screen. This began yesterday afternoon. I plugged it in and it didn’t recognize power. I tried it repeatedly and it finally began to charge (once). After leaving it on overnight, it was fully charged this morning, but has not recognized power since being unplugged and then plugged back in. I have checked the original Apple cables (*) and the original Apple power supply. All are good and supply power as far as the USB-C port on the iPad. The iPad simply will not recognize or use the incoming power.**This afternoon, I scheduled an appointment at GoldenMac Cadiz, Spain via the AppleCare app. I subsequently took my iPad in and the technician informed me that the USB-C port was in fact bad and the entire iPad would have to be replaced.**She stated it would take * to ** days for replacement with a new iPad because they had to send an email to Apple (USA) for approval to replace the iPad. Since I’m leaving the area Friday afternoon (day after tomorrow), that wasn’t an option I could use. I asked about them sending the email to Apple and me picking up the new iPad in Valencia Spain this Saturday or next Monday. She stated that wouldn’t be possible since the iPad had to be picked up here (in Cadiz).**As previously stated, I’m scheduled to be in Valencia Spain Saturday through Monday of next week (** through ** March). That is the nearest city with an Apple store located within the area I will be traveling. The iPad is under warranty. Is there anything you can do to help me resolve this in a timely fashion? **Please note: Other than the power problem, the iPad is in excellent shape and functions normally in all other ways. It has never been dropped or dented and the screen looks as it did when it left factory. **iPad Information**Model name: iPad Pro (** inch)*Versi*n: IOS **.**Serial number: DLXXN*Z*KD*P*IMEI: ** ****** ****** **AppleCare*: Expires *********Backup status: Fully backed up **This iPad is used for communication via Facebook, FaceTime, Skype, and email. It is also used for navigation, picture taking, and internet. In short, I rely on it for nearly everything while traveling.
