I have recently purchased a new Aircel sim card, and I would like to forward calls from my Airtel number to my new Aircel number. Despite activating call forwarding using the ussd code *21*my new number#, whenever someone calls my Airtel number, the call is automatically dropped. I hope this information clarifies my issue.

I am a new Airtel customer, Sameer M., and I recently requested International Roaming during my trip to Dubai from April 14th. I paid Rs. [redacted] in advance for possible international calls. After returning from Dubai, I visited the Airtel office in Baner, Pune, where I spoke to a representative — a male whose name I can't recall. I canceled the International Roaming service during a subsequent visit to the office. However, I was surprised to see charges of Rs. [redacted] per day for 4 days on my bill, totaling around Rs. [redacted]. I was not informed about these charges during my visits to the office, or I would not have activated the service. Despite explaining the situation and expressing my dissatisfaction during another visit last week, I have not received a call from the store manager as promised. I also spoke to Mr. Abhishek from Payments. Today, my outgoing calls and 4G service have been suspended. I request a prompt resolution, and I would appreciate a call to reinstate my services.

I, Shubh Kabra, recently switched my Airtel number to [redacted] from Vodafone due to connectivity issues with WhatsApp while showing 4G. The same problem persists with Airtel in Kamla Mills, Lower Parel, causing inconvenience. I contacted Vodafone without any response, prompting the switch. My registered email is [redacted] and registered mobile number is [redacted], with an alternate contact [redacted]. Despite the upgrade of the tower, there are no improvements in the network for a while now. Both calls and internet services are affected, including 2G not functioning. If the situation persists, I may have to reconsider returning to Vodafone.

I topped up with an extra ₹49 for a 3GB data plan yesterday evening using my number [redacted]. I work late shifts and didn't use the data at night after work. When I checked this morning, the data was gone. The Airtel app promised the 3GB data would be valid until my ₹[redacted] plan expires in 77 days, but it disappeared without me using any. I am frustrated with Airtel's lack of transparency and service quality compared to JIO. My friend has no network problems with JIO, unlike me facing frequent disconnects during calls due to poor network. I want either my money refunded or the promised data restored. Misleading advertising and customer service are unacceptable. I expect Airtel to address this issue promptly and honor what was promised in the app.

Hello, I am an Airtel postpaid customer. I have submitted several complaints about network and internet connectivity problems, but I have not received any responses or solutions from your end. If my concerns are not addressed, I will have to switch to another mobile network provider. Kindly contact me for further discussion. Thank you. Regards, AM

I have three Airtel DTH connections, one HD-DVR, and two HD set-top boxes. Recently, one of my HD set-top boxes (card ID- 0[redacted] [redacted]) has been experiencing random but very frequent software updates, happening many times a day. I contacted Airtel customer care, and they sent an engineer who diagnosed the set-top box as faulty and stated it needed replacement. However, to my surprise, they mentioned that the replacement would be a repaired one at the cost of Rs-[redacted]/-. When I initially purchased the Airtel set-top box, I paid for it. Now, I am being asked to pay for a repaired one, which I do not agree with. I would like either a new set-top box as a replacement or to terminate my connection. I am not satisfied with this policy and service. Please address this matter urgently. Thank you. Contact No. [redacted] DTH ID- [redacted]

My Airtel number, [redacted], stopped working on the morning of August 18, [redacted]. Initially, I believed it was just a network issue and waited for it to be resolved, but unfortunately, it remained inactive. I contacted customer care in the evening, and they informed me that my number was active, but the problem was with the physical SIM card. I was advised to obtain a new SIM card from an Airtel store. Since the SIM card was not registered under my ID, I had to request my brother to collect it for me. On August 21, my brother visited the Airtel store and obtained the replacement SIM. The store representative mentioned that the new SIM would be activated within four hours. Later that evening, I received the SIM, inserted it into my phone, and it worked for only five minutes before malfunctioning again. I urgently need my Airtel number to be functional. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have been an Airtel customer for four years and have kept my number active even while traveling overseas. I have linked this number to my bank account and have important business contacts associated with it. However, since I have been in Singapore for less than 5 months, my number has been sold to someone else. I am concerned about the safety measures Airtel has in place for its customers. It would be reassuring to receive a notification from Airtel before my number is deactivated and resold. Airtel is a widely used service in India, and I am disappointed by this breach of trust. I kindly request that my number, [redacted], be retrieved promptly to avoid any further issues. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. Best regards, Suruthi Priya

Hello, I am a doctor by profession and a long-time customer. My official number, [redacted], is no longer active. It used to be under Idea, but we switched it to Airtel prepaid four years ago. Recently, my husband and I opened a new hospital in Sultanpur Lodhi and obtained six corporate connections. He changed my number from prepaid to postpaid during that time. Due to a family dispute, he has blocked my number, and Airtel mentioned they require his authorization to reactivate it, which I am hesitant to seek. This situation is causing me significant distress as my contacts, bank accounts, and legal matters are associated with this number. I am hopeful for a resolution. Thank you. Dr. SK

I am a customer of Airtel DTH with ID [redacted], and I have two connections with two different dishes. Unfortunately, my first connection has been inactive for the past month. Despite various attempts to contact the local service team, I have been unsuccessful. When trying to reach the Cochin customer care center, I was unable to connect with a customer service representative after following the prompts. I am considering escalating this issue to Airtel and potentially to legal authorities if necessary. I have been a loyal broadband customer with fixed line No.[redacted]0 for a long time. Recently, I applied for two additional connections for my office located at C-47 Mezzanine floor, community center Naraina Ind. Area, phase 1, Delhi-[redacted]. I have prepaid for both connections for six months but, unfortunately, while the connections have been set up, the telephone instruments are still missing due to stock unavailability. Despite 15 days passing, the installation job remains incomplete. I have communicated with Mr. Sandeep Sharma, who handled the advance payment and formalities for the connections, but I am yet to receive my ID No. and payment receipt. Although Mr. Sharma provided me with telephone numbers initially, I have misplaced them. I kindly urge the provider to expedite the completion of the job. Thank you. Yogendra Kumar Gulati

I recently went from Ranchi to Bhagalpur and faced issues with my Bangalore number ([redacted]) while traveling. Although the sim was working initially, I suddenly lost network connectivity. After attempting various troubleshooting steps, I visited an Airtel store, where they replaced my sim with the same number. While I can now make and receive calls and use my data, I am unable to send or receive SMS, check my balance, or contact customer care. This number is important to me, and I would appreciate it if you could address these connectivity issues promptly.

I ordered my new iPhone XS on the Airtel website and paid the full amount with a debit card. The website mentioned that the phone would ship as soon as it launches in India, which happened yesterday. However, I haven't received any communication from Airtel about the shipment. I tried reaching out to them but couldn't get through. This phone is a birthday gift, so I'm concerned. Can someone please assist with this situation? Thank you, K. Dhuri

I wanted to transfer my dad's sim to my name since I use it. My phone number is [redacted]. I visited the Airtel store in Triplicane around 7:30 PM, within their working hours until 8:00 PM. Unfortunately, the staff seemed unhelpful and unwilling to assist with my request. Despite having all required documents, the employee insisted that the transfer could only be done on Monday and attempted to upsell me to a higher plan, which I declined. I work full-time and can't easily visit during the weekend. I was disheartened by the poor customer service and am considering number portability due to this experience.

I have been in Saudi Arabia for the last 18 months using the SIM cards with numbers [redacted] and [redacted]. However, in the past month, both SIM cards have become inactive, and I have not been receiving any messages. I asked a friend to contact customer care, and they explained that my roaming pack has expired. When inquiring about the recharge amount needed to reactivate the SIM cards, I was told to check the website for information, which did not provide the details I needed. I am reaching out to get assistance on how to reactivate both SIM cards ([redacted] & [redacted]). Please note that I am not interested in offers related to calls to or from India, I only require the SIM cards to be active so I can receive messages. Thank you.

Dear Sir, I am writing to bring to your attention an ongoing issue we have been experiencing for the past year with Airtel. Despite multiple reminders, we have not received any response from your team. I have reached out via email to several Airtel addresses without any resolution. An Airtel representative visited our premises eight months ago, acknowledged the error on Airtel's end, promised to rectify it, and collected a check. However, we have not heard back or seen any action taken to date. Airtel has disconnected our services over 20 times across 37 locations in India, resulting in significant losses for our company. Today, our calls have once again been abruptly stopped, and we are extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and service from Airtel. We kindly request you to honor the commitment made by your team to waive off the charges and allow us to continue using Airtel services. Your immediate attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Suresh K.

I have noticed advertisements everywhere, and it appears that Airtel talks a lot but does not deliver. Since I began using Airtel, I have never been satisfied with the network. The coverage is poor, the speed is terrible, and where I live, there is no network signal at all. I reside in a well-known city in Assam, where an excellent network is expected. Also, it is mentioned in the TV ads that Airtel has 4G network coverage in Umi Lake or something, but what good does it do for us there? What about the coverage in cities? I am unhappy and will not recommend this network to anyone unless I receive the service that I am paying for. It is frustrating to pay for a service and not receive it. I hope for a response from the company regarding this matter.

I am OYELADE, Oladayo. I have been subscribed to the 5.5GB data plan for two weeks now and have been unable to use it due to the poor Airtel network in my area. Many people at my workplace have switched to MTN due to similar issues. Despite being a loyal Airtel customer for two years, this month's network quality is the worst I have encountered. I am disappointed with the service as the [redacted] naira I spent on data seems wasted. I am situated in Ewekoro, Ogun State, and would be willing to collaborate with Airtel's engineers to improve the network, even if it means installing additional cell towers in the area.

I have an Airtel internet plan for [redacted] rupees giving me [redacted] GB of data at an average speed of 20 Mbps. Lately, I've been experiencing extremely slow speeds, ranging from 0.7 to 2 Mbps, particularly at around 11 pm. This makes streaming media nearly impossible. I value receiving the full service I am paying for. Contacting Airtel has been challenging, and I hope for a resolution. My Airtel AC number is [redacted], and the associated landline number is 0[redacted]. The plan is under the name of Mr. Partha Ray.
