What is Volaris Airlines' policy for unaccompanied minors?

Asked 6 months ago
Volaris Airlines prioritizes the safety and well-being of unaccompanied minors (UMs) during their travel. Our policy requires UMs between the ages of 5 and 14 to travel as an escorted minor. These children will be accompanied by our trained staff throughout their journey, ensuring their safe arrival at the designated destination. For UMs aged 15 to 17, the service is optional, providing flexibility to parents and guardians. A nominal fee applies for this assistance, covering the cost of detailed supervision, regular communication with parents, and prompt assistance during connections or delays. We recommend parents or guardians fill out the required documentation at the airport check-in counter, provide accurate contact information, and remain reachable until the UM completes their travel. Volaris Airlines strives to provide a secure and pleasant travel experience for unaccompanied minors.
