What happens to my Staples Rewards if I return an item?

If you return an item for which you earned Staples Rewards, the reward amount associated with that specific item will be deducted from your account. The updated balance of your Staples Rewards will be reflected in your account within 5-7 business days after the return has been processed. However, if the returned item resulted in a negative rewards balance, that amount will be deducted from any future earned rewards until the balance is restored. It's important to note that if you used your rewards to pay for the returned item, the refund will be credited back to your original form of payment, and the rewards will be reinstated to your account. Remember to keep track of your Staples Rewards and check your account regularly for any changes.
