What should I do in case of a power outage?

Asked a year ago
In case of a power outage, please first check if your neighbors are also affected. If so, report the outage to your utility company as soon as possible. To stay safe during an outage, unplug electronic devices, keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed to preserve food, and use flashlights instead of candles. Avoid opening the refrigerator or freezer unless necessary to prevent food spoilage. Stay informed of any updates from your utility company and follow their instructions. It's also a good idea to have an emergency kit on hand with essentials like water, non-perishable food, medications, and a battery-powered radio.
