Who is eligible for Peach Care?
Peach Care is designed to provide affordable healthcare coverage to children and teens in Georgia. Eligibility for Peach Care depends on several factors. Children up to the age of 19 may qualify if their family income falls within the income limits set by the program. These limits are determined using the Federal Poverty Level guidelines. Additionally, applicants must be residents of Georgia and U.S. citizens or qualified non-citizens. Parents or legal guardians who are seeking coverage for their children must also meet the residency and citizenship requirements. Pregnant women may also be eligible for Peach Care. Overall, the program aims to ensure that children and teens from low-income households have access to essential health benefits, regardless of their family's financial situation.
