How do I register to vote?

Asked a year ago
To register to vote in Maine, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least 17 years old (you must be 18 to vote), and a Maine resident. You can register to vote in person at your town/city hall, at various state agencies, or at voter registration drives. You can also register by mail or online using the Maine Online Voter Registration System. Make sure to provide proof of identity and residency when registering. Once registered, you will receive a voter card in the mail and will be eligible to vote in upcoming elections.
