Can I donate books or materials to the Central Branch?

Asked 7 months ago
Yes, the Central Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library gladly welcomes donations of books and other materials. We appreciate the generosity of our patrons in contributing to our ever-growing collection. Donated items should be in good condition and relevant to our collection’s scope, which includes a wide range of subjects. Donors can bring their contributions directly to the Central Branch or drop them off at any of our branch locations. We are grateful for the community's support, and donations play a crucial role in enhancing the resources we offer to our visitors. Please note that we are unable to accept magazines, encyclopedias, or damaged items.
