What is Glacier Bank's overdraft policy?

Asked a year ago
Glacier Bank's overdraft policy ensures that customers have options when their account balance falls below zero. The bank offers two types of overdraft protection: Standard Overdraft Practices and Overdraft Privilege. Under Standard Overdraft Practices, Glacier Bank may authorize and pay overdrafts for certain transactions, including checks and automatic bill payments, at its discretion. Overdraft Privilege is an additional service that allows the bank to pay overdrafts for ATM withdrawals and everyday debit card transactions, also at its discretion. However, this service requires customers to opt-in. Both options may result in a fee per overdraft occurrence, and customers are advised to carefully monitor their account balance and manage funds responsibly to avoid overdrafts and related charges.
