American Airlines is committed to providing special assistance to passengers with disabilities. We offer a range of services to ensure their comfort and convenience throughout their journey. Passengers with disabilities can request wheelchair assistance during their travel through our Reservation team or at the airport. We also provide priority boarding and assistance in navigating the airport premises. Our staff is trained to assist passengers with visual or hearing impairments, and we offer accessible lavatories on most of our aircraft. We recommend notifying us about any special requirements or equipment at least 48 hours before departure. Additionally, we strive to accommodate service animals as per the required guidelines.
