Hello,
I am unsure of the exact size limit of my sync folder. Two weeks ago, I added a larger folder/files to it, then removed them. Afterwards, I added a significantly smaller one, but it seems the sync process halted. There has been no sync activity since then.
When I click the iDrive icon in the menu bar on my MacBook, the scroll-down window does not show "Sync" like it does on my MacMini. I wonder if this is significant.
I have shared screenshots showing that there is no sync status in the status popup on my MacBook. The option "Show Sync notifications on desktop" is greyed out, and the app does not display "Status: Active." I fear that my MacBook is not syncing at all.
I observed that my MacBook has disappeared from the list of devices linked to my account. I tried adding it as a new device, but there is no pop-up window for it. I reinstalled the iDrive app, but the issue persists.

Some files and folders encountered backup issues due to an unexpected error with IDrive. Despite multiple attempts with PCMatic to schedule automatic backups every 24 hours, I continue to receive failure notifications with incomplete backups. Although the assistance has been helpful, it is crucial for my computer to back up fully each night. I prefer the backup process to start at 9 pm Eastern Time daily.
I have been a satisfied user of IDrive for years. Upon PCMatic's suggestion to improve my computer's speed by installing an SSD, I complied, resulting in a faster system. However, since the SSD installation, there have been challenges with the 24-hour backups on IDrive. Previously, an experienced IT professional configured IDrive successfully for us, and it worked well until the recent SSD upgrade.
PCMatic's Stephen initiated the first backup on Mar 10th post SSD installation, informing me it might take a day or so due to the new setup. After a day and a half, the initial backup was completed despite encountering errors with some files and folders.

I forgot to renew my Idrive subscription, and now I'm unable to reinstate it even after deleting and trying to reinstall the program with a new email address. I saw a preliminary charge at a lower rate on my credit card for a new subscription, which I believe is incorrect. I'm looking to regain access to Idrive at the regular renewal rate.
