I received an email notifying me of a security breach on my Yahoo account. I discovered unauthorized logins from Rochester, Illinois, the UK, and Canada in my Recent Activity log. Despite changing my password multiple times, the unknown parties keep accessing my accounts. I am concerned about my privacy and account security. What steps can I take to prevent these international logins and ensure Yahoo enhances the protection of users' accounts?

I have been dealing with abuse for about five or six years. Recently, my financial app was temporarily shut down because I couldn't verify my account due to password issues. I suspect someone has been accessing my accounts, as I have been receiving notifications from Microsoft and Facebook about hacking attempts. My passwords are frequently changed without my knowledge, and I believe it's someone I used to live near. My credit card was stolen as well. I've had explicit content sent to my phone, viruses installed, and had to deal with changing passwords and losing accounts over the last six years. Despite trying various solutions and involving the police, I can't seem to stop this abuse. I even received an email claiming my account would be deactivated, which I believe could be a scam. I am unsure of what steps to take next to address this ongoing issue.

I recently discovered that my boyfriend's phone number was linked to my Yahoo account, leading me to see unsettling things. Dealing with abuse from him and others has caused me immense distress. My online accounts and personal life have been compromised. I have avoided using Yahoo, Facebook, AOL, and other platforms, except for Google. My phone, my only means of internet access, has also been compromised. Despite extensive research, I am lost on where to seek help. I am even considering selling my home due to this turmoil. It seems like I am involved in some unauthorized beta testing. I have sought assistance from the police without filing a report. I fear someone is attempting to discredit me unfairly. I need guidance urgently. Tracy.

I contacted 1-[redacted] regarding an issue with my emails not syncing between my computer and phone. Verizon suggested calling Yahoo, but the Yahoo representative advised contacting Cloud com Technologies for a $[redacted] one-time fee to address the problem. After granting permission for the rep to access my computer, he claimed my IP address was hacked and showed me suspicious activity on my screen. Despite offering to contact Cloud com Technologies for me, I declined. I tried to research the company's reviews but had trouble staying connected. I am concerned that my account may have been compromised, as the rep accessed my computer. I would appreciate clarification on whether the phone number I called was legitimate or if I fell victim to a scam. Upon rebooting my computer, it was in safe mode, and Malwarebytes was disabled, although no issues were detected upon reactivation. Thank you, J.G.

I need assistance removing the [redacted] Apple ID linked to the former iPhone I sold, registered under the name Terri Anne Lange. Despite multiple attempts, I was unsuccessful in deleting it. Whenever I try to log in, it indicates an incorrect password. Even after resetting the password, the issue persists, stating an incorrect password upon login. I am frustrated with this situation and seeking a solution to resolve this matter and remove the Apple ID from the phone. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Are you challenging me? If not, I suggest you take it down a notch and stop with the threats. You are mistaken if you think I am the commissioner; I have not posted anything. Show some restraint and reconsider your approach. Let's resolve this maturely.

Subject: Concerns with Email Abuse Reports
I am experiencing unauthorized abuse reports targeting my email accounts. I suspect phishing attempts aimed at gathering my information and potentially closing my longstanding Flashnet/Prodigy accounts. Despite offering to pay for legitimate ATT or Yahoo services, I have faced harassment from unknown individuals. Fake emails with misleading headers are being sent, potentially involving email hijacking. This violation of my privacy is alarming, especially when emails are being reported without my consent. I am worried about the security of my information and request immediate action to stop these activities. It is vital to investigate these incidents promptly.
Sincerely,
C. Hufford

I have had this Yahoo email address for over 30 years. Recently, I received an email titled "Mailbox Restriction Updates." The message is urging me to update my account, warning that Yahoo might lock my mailbox if I don't follow the instructions. This is the third time I've gotten this email. It also states that once I update my security, the restrictions will be lifted immediately. I'm not sure if this is genuine or if it's spam or if my account is being hacked. Can someone advise me on what to do?

Our computer was hacked on Tuesday, January 24, and we got locked out of our Yahoo and Facebook accounts. We've changed our credit cards already, but it's unfortunate that we lost access to our Yahoo mail account, which we've had for over 23 years and use to keep in touch with family across the states. The hacker is using the email [redacted] and has been reaching out to our family and friends asking for money and gift cards. We aren't financially well-off; I'm disabled, and my wife has M.S. and works part-time. Every bit of help would be greatly appreciated to resolve this situation. Thank you. - Todd
