I recently stayed at Wingate Page Lake Powell last month, and I discovered that they charged me twice. Despite numerous calls to resolve this issue, they assured me it was a pre-authorization that should have been automatically refunded to my bank account. However, after checking with my bank multiple times, there is no record of the refund. I suspect the hotel may not have initiated the refund at all. Due to this inconvenience, I am planning to close my bank account. Could you please transfer the refund to a different account for me? Thank you.

I am encountering issues with the hotel regarding my earned points. Initially, I booked a room with [redacted] points on September 12th but had to cancel an hour later due to work. Despite trying to provide a 24-hour notice, I was unable to, as the reservation was for the same day and the manager did not want to discuss it. Additionally, I stayed on October 28th-29th and have not received points for this stay. I have been a loyal Diamond member since the hotel was a Clarion, frequently spending money there. Unfortunately, the recent management changes have led to a decline in cleanliness and a rude attitude towards guests. I used to adore this hotel and its staff, but the current situation is unpleasant. There needs to be a change before legal action is taken.

My teenage grandson, aged 15, was unfortunately put in a tough spot where he had to work to pay for his hotel room after his father didn't cover the expenses. This resulted in him being left alone in the room for over two days without food or money when he was unexpectedly jailed. Wingate by Wyndham then withheld his last paycheck to cover the room charges. I have researched child labor laws and found multiple violations. Despite my attempts to address this directly with the hotel and even the owner, I've faced roadblocks and my grandson has been threatened. He deserves not only his last paycheck but also compensation for the hours taken to pay for the room, especially since there was no agreement signed for this deduction. The situation, including underage workers and long shifts without breaks, is alarming. I hold Wingate accountable to resolve this matter appropriately.

During our recent stay at the Wingate Hotel in Fairburn, GA, my wife and I faced several issues which greatly impacted our experience. Despite having previously enjoyed positive stays at other Wingate locations such as Henrico, VA, this visit was disappointing.
Upon checking in, we were informed by Mercedes at the front desk that there would be no maid service provided from 9/10 to 10/14. The problems began when we discovered the room safe was inoperable, leaving us unable to secure our valuables. Despite reporting this to Velup, who attempted to fix it, no solution was found, and we were promised only a $20 discount for the inconvenience. Our room also lacked basic amenities like sugar and creamer for our coffee, and we were given conflicting information regarding requesting room cleaning.
As our stay progressed, the issues with cleanliness and supply restocking persisted, leading to frustration as we ran out of essentials like tissues and toilet paper. Despite being frequent Wyndham guests and understanding the challenges of moving due to my disability, the lack of professionalism and customer service we encountered at this Wingate location was unprecedented and left us extremely dissatisfied.

In early December, while staying at Wingate and Austell on the service road, I had a fall in my sleep and now require medical attention. Despite experiencing severe back pain following the incident, I do not have insurance to cover the expenses. Although I informed the staff about the fall, a night manager reassured me she would file a report. I am urgently seeking assistance and would appreciate prompt follow-up on this issue.
