I reside in a senior community with close to [redacted] homes in Apple Valley, CA. The majority of our residents frequent the nearby Winco for its convenience, along with the Stater Brothers just a block away. However, there is a concern about the lack of mask requirement for customers at Winco, especially since many of our residents are older and have underlying health issues, making them more vulnerable to Covid-19. In contrast, Stater Brothers mandates that all customers wear masks, a policy that has prompted an increasing number of residents to switch their grocery shopping there. It's likely that this shift will continue as long as the Covid-19 threat persists. I urge Winco to consider implementing a mask mandate for the safety of our community. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards, B. Morgan

I had a negative experience at the Power Road location in Mesa, Arizona. While checking out in the express lane, I needed help with the unfamiliar computer system. Unfortunately, an employee rudely responded from a distance and made sarcastic remarks, which left me feeling disrespected. Despite reporting the incident to the manager on Friday, August 13th at 5:00 pm, I left without knowing the employee's name. The manager assured me they would address the situation. However, the employee later tracked me down to mention my item count in a somewhat confrontational manner. The entire encounter has left me feeling uncomfortable and unhappy with the service received.

I experienced assault and injury in a hostile environment by security and staff members. Accused of shoplifting, I was mistreated, beaten, jailed, and publicly humiliated. Seeking accountability, I aim to press charges against the staff involved in falsely accusing me at WinCo. I was unjustly detained, tackled, demoralized, and physically harmed, resulting in the loss of teeth and personal distress. I have not yet engaged a lawyer and wish to discuss this matter with the franchise department owner or manager for resolution. Your assistance in connecting me to the responsible parties would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to urgently reach out to the regional or district manager regarding an incident involving two Winco employees and a loss prevention specialist at the Spokane Valley, Washington WinCo. I was wrongfully arrested, assaulted, and detained for five days, only to be released due to insufficient evidence and false accusations made by the police. My experience was demoralizing and physically harmful. I am seeking justice and wish to address this matter promptly. I am currently unable to afford legal representation, but I am determined to seek charges against the employees involved. My sister, Armandita R., witnessed the entire ordeal and is deeply affected by the situation. Please contact me at [redacted]. I appreciate your attention to this urgent matter. Thank you.

Dear WinCo Team, I would like to express my sincere apologies for my recent behavior in your store. I deeply regret my actions and my reaction to being caught shoplifting. The situation triggered my PTSD, causing me to panic when confronted by your Security Team. Unfortunately, during the incident, one of your employees named Cody from the Missoula location injured my knee severely. His actions have left me in excruciating pain, and despite medical treatment, my condition has not improved. I am currently on permanent Disability due to various mental health disorders and rely solely on SSDI. I am struggling to make ends meet and cannot afford the monthly fine imposed on me. I am sincerely sorry for any inconvenience I have caused and kindly request your understanding and forgiveness in this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, Kelly L.

As a Winco employee, I am facing discrimination from a manager, and despite discussing it with multiple managers, no actions have been taken. I have been a dedicated part of the team and enjoy my job. After applying for a new position and being promised a transfer to another department upon the manager's return, I was informed they hired someone else. The manager in training’s unprofessional behavior and colleagues taking sides are adding to the issue. I have tried to overlook the situation, but it has not improved. I feel unheard and neglected. I value my job but now feel exploited. Despite being on today’s schedule, I will not go in until my concerns are addressed. I have evidence of being marginalized during my nearly 2 years here. I am well-versed in my role and simply request a transfer to another department. I appreciate any assistance in this matter. Thank you.

I have been patiently waiting for months for the baked chicken oven at the Ogden store to become operational. It has been a series of delays, from getting a new oven to issues with staffing and maintenance. Despite being offered alternative options, I explained my disability and inability to switch. Recently, when I attempted to place an order, I was met with resistance from the seafood manager who claimed it would be against policy. This led to a frustrating encounter with the deli manager and store manager who were dismissive and rushed. I used to enjoy Winco, especially when the previous manager, John, was around. It is disappointing that the customer service number is not functional. I hope my concerns are heard and addressed properly.

Good morning. I have been a loyal customer of Winco in Redding, CA for over 20 years. I appreciate the affordable prices and cleanliness at your store. However, I was disappointed to find out that Winco removed their soft serve machine last week. This change was upsetting for both me and my 7-year-old granddaughter who enjoyed it, as well as my 91-year-old mother-in-law in hospice care who looked forward to the treat. I hope Winco reconsiders this decision as it was a nice and affordable treat for us. Thank you.

I have been a loyal customer at the Roseville, CA store #31 on Fairway Drive ever since purchasing my home nearby in [redacted]. The Winco and its employees have always been excellent, creating a neighborhood store atmosphere. Recently, there has been a change in store management, and the new manager has stopped taking customer orders. My family has regularly ordered 2 cases of “Real CoCo coconut water” through customer service and variety for years, but we have been declined this service now due to the new manager's policy. I hope someone at corporate can review and reconsider this decision as it is not very customer-friendly. Thank you, BK Ammenwerth.

Since Winco Foods opened in Pomona, CA, I have been a customer at that location. Recently, I visited your store but left without making a purchase because I noticed that some of your prices are higher than other stores. For instance, today I went to Stater Brothers and bought Oscar Mayer beef hot dogs for $2.99 on digital price, while at Winco, they are priced at $4.99-$5.49. I received your ad in the mail inviting customers to shop, mentioning that you lost some customers due to high prices. I hope you can take this feedback into consideration. Sincerely, S.

I had a disappointing experience with customer service in Moses Lake, WA. Despite explaining that the card reader was not working, the agent advised me to keep trying my card, which resulted in it getting locked when I moved to her register. I was not informed earlier that credit cards were not accepted. I left without making a purchase, feeling let down. When I spoke to someone claiming to be the store manager the following day, they mentioned checking the surveillance footage but indicated there was nothing they could do. Despite my friends offering to pay in cash, I declined, and now I have decided that WinCo has lost my business.
