Following a missed flight, we were referred to a selection of hotels by the airline for an overnight stay. Unfortunately, our choice, the "Baymont Inn and Suites, Charlotte," was extremely unpleasant and unsafe within just 10 minutes of arrival. Witnessing concerning activities like individuals involved in illegal actions, damaged walls, and unsteady people frequenting the premises, we were shocked. Not only are we disappointed about the wasted $84 for our brief stay, but we are also worried about the possibility of other travelers, especially families, unknowingly ending up in such a distressing environment. The situation was so dire that even our Uber driver expressed astonishment at our chosen accommodation. Subsequent investigation revealed alarming reviews recounting similar unsettling experiences at the Baymont Inn and Suites Charlotte. It is vital for the safety of all patrons that this hotel be removed from the recommended list. Verification of these claims is urged, and a refund for our stay is requested.

Upon arrival, we had to wait for over thirty minutes - accompanied by a tired 5-year-old after a long airport day - for our reservation to be processed. On June 12, our flight was canceled late in the evening after a significant delay. Despite the inconvenience, the only compensation provided was a discounted room voucher. Many travelers, including ourselves, were left in a difficult situation. We were under the impression that the Wyndham Garden Elk Grove Village/O'Hare offered shuttle service, which sadly was not the case. As a result, with no available hotels due to flight cancellations, I promptly canceled our reservation upon learning we had no means of transportation to the hotel. Regrettably, I recently noticed a charge on my credit card statement for a room we never got to utilize. Following the hotel's guidance, I am reaching out to roomstorm in hopes of resolving this issue. Our flight from Miami had to return due to a lack of fuel and a storm approaching. Traveling with my 11-year-old daughter, we faced a challenging night sleeping on the airport floor instead of reaching our booked hotel. On July 22nd, I made a reservation for the same night through Roomstorm.com at the Best Western Plus Denver International Airport Inn and Suites located at [redacted] Tower Road, Denver, CO. My confirmation number is [redacted]. Unfortunately, my flight was cancelled, and I had to take a taxi to the hotel at 11:30 pm. Upon arrival, the hotel attendant informed me that there were no available rooms, indicating a discrepancy in bookings. They assured me that I wouldn't be charged. Despite this, I was charged for the room, as reflected on my credit card statement. I attempted to contact the provided phone number from the confirmation text message, but no one answered. I'm writing to inform you that I recently noticed a charge of $[redacted] on my account for a hotel reservation in downtown Atlanta that I did not utilize. After experiencing a flight cancellation on October 18 at Atlanta airport, I contacted a number provided by Delta to secure a room at the Downtown Atlanta Hampton Inn. However, upon discovering a free shuttle to a Hampton Inn at the airport, I promptly canceled the downtown reservation and made a new booking myself. Surprisingly, I have been charged for the unused reservation at the downtown hotel, despite the hotel having no record of our stay.
