I had an awful experience at the Vodafone shop on Leopoldstraße 68 in München. Last month, I visited to replace my lost SIM card. Shockingly, the staff deceived me into signing a new, expensive two-year contract without disclosure. They obtained my ID and bank details under false pretenses, claiming it was for the replacement and a €5 fee. This behavior feels illegal and violates data protection laws. Other staff, including the manager, were also involved in misleading me. It seems money is their sole priority, and Vodafone may be tolerating this misconduct by not holding them accountable.
During two attempts to cancel the contract, the staff insisted it was binding, with the manager suggesting I shouldn't trust those asking for personal information. This deceit continued with promises of free high-speed gigabytes for three months and a €[redacted] monthly service that turned out to be three contracts. Upon contacting consumer service, I realized the extent of the deception. Despite reaching out to Vodafone's supposedly influential office in Germany, I received no response for a month. I hope Vodafone Customer Service can address this appropriately.

Hello, I am Eric Duell. I had a Vodafone number, [redacted], when I lived in Germany. In November [redacted], I informed Vodafone that I was leaving in December and needed to cancel my account by January 31. Despite this, they continued to charge me beyond January. Currently deployed with the US military in Egypt, I received a notice on June 17, [redacted], stating I owe 49.30 euros to Vodafone. I closed the bank account linked to Vodafone on March 18, [redacted], as it was only used during my time in Germany. When trying to contact Vodafone Germany, the language barrier was an issue, and Vodafone UK was unable to assist me. As I am unable to make calls from Egypt, I've attempted to reach out through a military phone without success. My previous chat attempt did not yield any resolution.

I purchased a Vodafone sim card in Hamburg for 9.99 Euros for a two-week stay in Germany, planning to use it for Internet access. However, the data was quickly used up, so I added more credit in another town. Even that was used up fast. Finally, in Halle, a Vodafone agent explained that my sim card was not set up correctly, causing me to use data unexpectedly. He suggested a minimum charge of 25 Euros and advised me to contact Vodafone for a refund after my trip. I made three cash payments: 9.99 Euros, 25 Euros, and possibly 10 Euros without a receipt. My details are "Mobilfunknummer lautet" 01[redacted] and a bar code of [redacted][redacted] on the sim card holder. I believe I overpaid for data due to Vodafone's errors and hope for a refund. I can provide copies of the receipts and sim card holder if you have a way to receive them. Thank you. - M. Kiely.

I am experiencing an issue with LTE data being charged to my account again. Over the past 4 days, every day from August 1st to August 7th, I have received a notification that a charge of €25,99 has been made for a data package. This is NOT possible as this package is automatically charged once my data runs out. Therefore, I would like you to cancel this automatic booking for the data package. I want the option to book the data package manually and NOT automatically!!! Furthermore, my husband and I are at work all day, so it is simply not possible for us to be using internet data. Also, at the beginning of the month, my Gigacube data is rolled over from month to month, so I do not understand why data is being charged to my account on these days. Please investigate this matter urgently; otherwise, I will have to terminate my contract with you for the reasons mentioned above.
I would appreciate your prompt response to this matter; otherwise, I will have to escalate this to a higher level with Vodafone through my lawyer.

I have been attempting to downgrade my Home LAN internet service from a very expensive package to a more moderate one since July. It took over 10 calls to finally reach an English-speaking customer support specialist who assured me that the tariff had been changed; however, this turned out to be incorrect. After following up with another agent in mid-September [redacted], I was informed that the tariff change was scheduled but they needed to call me again for confirmation. Unfortunately, I did not receive any further calls, and my tariff remains unchanged. I have been unable to locate an English-speaking customer support specialist since, as they hang up when I request English assistance. It would be helpful if there were an option to downgrade tariffs online, but currently, only upgrades are available through the website.

Hello,
I'm Dhivya Raja. My Rufnummer is [redacted]20. I used to have a Vodafone internet contract, paying 40 EUR monthly. Since I moved, I requested to cancel the contract with Vodafone. However, they stated I must pay until November [redacted]. Today, upon checking my bank statement, I noticed Vodafone Gmbh deducted [redacted].03 EUR. I'm concerned about this unexpected fee and would appreciate an explanation for this additional charge.

Hello, I am Igor from Berlin. I have the Vodafone Cable [redacted] package, which should deliver [redacted] Mbps for downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads. Unfortunately, since the first day, I have not been receiving even half of the speed, especially after 16:00 when I only get 1 Mbps for downloads and less than 0.5 Mbps for uploads. As I pay for the service monthly on time, please take action to resolve this issue, otherwise, I may need to involve my lawyer. You can reach me at [redacted]15 if you would like to discuss this matter further.

Hello,
My mother is a Vodafone customer in Germany and she is being billed twice a month without any explanation for the additional charges. The total amount on the bill is unusually high for her usage of the gadgets. I would appreciate it if someone from Vodafone could clarify the charges and review the contract and usage with me.

I entered the wrong PIN three times and now it's asking for a PUK code. Unfortunately, I've misplaced my card with all the details. I do have a picture of the card, but the PUK is blurred out and I can't read it. I'm currently not in Germany and can't visit a store or call due to my blocked SIM. I've attempted to use MeinVodafone from Poland without success and also tried the CallYa login with no luck. I paid 40 euros for this prepaid SIM card and really need to unlock it by retrieving my PUK. It seems strange that I can live chat with UK Vodafone but not Germany. It shouldn't be this complicated to resolve, but here I am. I can provide the phone number, SIM serial number, and ID for verification purposes.

Hello, I am writing about an issue with connecting to the Network Server at the Hampton by Hilton Munich City Centre West hotel. The server operates on a private IP address, and it seems that after a power outage, the ISP router may have lost its configuration. This loss of connection with the server is concerning. Could you please check the port forwarding on the ISP Router and ensure that port [redacted] is forwarded from IP Address [redacted].[redacted].0.[redacted]/24?
Thank you, Sebastian.

Good afternoon,
I recently relocated out of Germany for a new job and have a few requests I need assistance with.
1. I would like to temporarily pause my contract as I am a pilot traveling to Europe frequently. I am finishing training and want to pause my contract until I start flying to Europe again.
2. Since I no longer live in Europe, I am interested in downgrading my package to a more affordable option. Can you provide me with some available choices?
3. I also need a new phone and am open to committing to a contract that offers a new iPhone once I resume my normal contract.
If you have any questions or need to reach me, you can respond via email at [redacted] Please avoid calling me on the German number (+[redacted]58) provided, as I no longer have a phone with a Vodafone SIM card.
Best regards,
Casper Hermens

Hello Manfred Gremmer,
My name is [redacted], and I am currently in Australia, no longer living in Germany. I would like to terminate my Vodafone mobile contract. I plan to settle any outstanding payments soon but continuing the contract would pose financial difficulties for me. I have received my deregistration from Germany and would like to send it to you. Since there is no attachment option here, could you please provide me with an email address where I can send it?
Kind regards,

Hello,
I recharged my prepay number ([redacted]6) on January 31, [redacted], but the amount has not yet been credited to my account. As there is no money on my Vodafone account, the 9.99 Euro for my CallYa plan cannot be deducted.
Could you please investigate this issue and provide me with a transaction history of all top-ups and payments made from my account?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Sue Strobel

I have a prepaid SIM card in my phone. I live in Florida and spend about five months in Germany every year, where I use the phone with the German SIM card. My problem is that my phone number becomes invalid after 6 months. So, when I arrive in Germany and urgently need my phone, I don't have one. Also, all my connections are cut off because no one can reach me at the familiar number. Please help and keep my number valid!!! Thank you. I always maintain a balance!

Today, a technician visited my place for the second time to set up my DSL internet, but I still have no service after a month of waiting. The technician checked the cables and assured me everything was fine, but even after waiting for 5 hours, the internet is not working. When attempting to register my account on the EasyBox website, I continuously receive the message to plug the DSL cable into the correct port, which it already is.
I have wasted two full days waiting for these technicians, unable to book a specific appointment time. After a month of no service, I am frustrated. When trying to contact Vodafone customer service for help in English, I was condescendingly reminded that I am in Germany.
Internet is essential, especially during the pandemic. If the issue is not resolved promptly, I may need to cancel the contract.

I had a technician visit for the second time last Saturday to set up my DSL internet, but I still don't have a connection after a month. The technician checked the cables and said everything was fine, but despite waiting for hours, the internet isn't working. When I try to register on the EasyBox website, I keep getting an error message about plugging in the DSL cable, which is already connected. I've wasted entire days waiting, unable to schedule precise appointments, and despite being a customer for a month, I still have no service. When I try to contact Vodafone customer service for help in English, I'm reminded that I'm in Germany. I urgently need a solution as internet is essential in these times. If I'm made to wait further, I'll have to cancel my contract.

I previously worked at the Israeli Embassy in Berlin from July [redacted] to July [redacted] while residing in Hamburg. My client number is [redacted]53. In April of [redacted], I officially requested to disconnect from Vodafone services via fax and returned the modem in July [redacted]. Despite this, I am still receiving invoices and demands for payment. I view this as illegal and harassing. I intend to involve the embassy's legal department if necessary. I kindly request an immediate resolution to this matter, without any additional charges from July 18, [redacted] (the date of my departure from Germany). Unfortunately, I am unable to contact you by phone or access my online account.
