Hello, my name is Nick. I am having trouble with my Viper 5706v installed on a [redacted] Mitsubishi Eclipse with a manual transmission. The alarm function is working correctly, but I am struggling with the remote start feature. After following the correct steps, the car should remain running when I remove the key, lock the doors, and exit, but it shuts off immediately instead. Additionally, I have questions about the white parking light output and the white/brown isolation parking light pin 87a. I am unsure of the purpose of the white/brown wire and how to connect it properly for the parking lights to work as intended. Despite trying different configurations and reading forums, I have not been successful. I attempted connecting the white/brown wire to a 12v source for testing, but the lights wouldn't turn off. I am seeking guidance on where to properly connect this wire. I appreciate any help as I have been unable to reach customer service for assistance.

I purchased a car starter bundle from Viper for my wife's Christmas gift, and I am extremely disappointed with the product. Since installation, the system has been triggering the alarm while she drives, forcing her to return to the installer multiple times for resets. This poses a safety concern and is inconvenient for her to repeatedly have to go back for adjustments. She has even stopped using the system entirely, negating the safety feature I wanted for her. I have been trying to contact Viper for assistance as advised by the installer, but they were unable to provide me with a direct phone number. I am concerned about the company's responsiveness given this difficulty in reaching them, so I'm documenting this email for my records. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you.

I am experiencing difficulties with programming the remote for my Viper 3100V 1-Way Security System on my [redacted] E250 Ford Econoline van. I have followed the wiring instructions meticulously, and the blue light is flashing, indicating that the connections are correct. Despite my efforts, the alarm does not sound when I attempt to program the remote by following the necessary steps. I have sought assistance from various sources like Google, YouTube, and even contacted Viper directly, but unfortunately, I have not been able to resolve the issue. I have been troubleshooting this problem for three weeks now and still have not made progress. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Microsoft Defender alert appeared on my screen, prompting me to call the provided number due to an issue. They accessed my computer and reportedly contacted my bank's fraud department. Feeling uneasy, I shut everything down. Why didn't Viper detect this? Could my Viper settings be incorrect? I am reviewing the Intrusion Detection Systems settings. After noticing many were off, I activated them, setting them to High with [redacted] IDs enabled, many related to trojan activity. I'm confused about the situation.

I was instructed by Ken from support to uninstall my Viper software as Active Protection and Threat Definitions were not functioning properly. Despite receiving an email with reinstallation instructions, I have been unsuccessful in completing the process. Each time the installation appears to be finished, a pop-up box appears. This situation worries me as I believe my computer is left unprotected. Urgent assistance with solving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, C. Mundell.
