I recently received a gift card from a friend, and unfortunately, the packaging was not fully sealed when it arrived. Upon opening it, I noticed that 4 numbers on the card were already scratched off. This made it impossible for me to access assistance through the provided [redacted] number as I didn't have the complete card number. I haven't been able to reach a customer service representative to address this issue. I even tried using the card for a small purchase of $5, but it wouldn't go through. The card remains unused since I discovered the problem immediately after opening it. Fortunately, the numbers on the back of the card (barcode, etc.) are still intact. I am hoping to launch an investigation and receive assistance as the gift card is valued at $[redacted].

I am experiencing difficulty using my $[redacted] Vanilla gift card in-store. The card does not swipe and lacks a chip for use. When I contacted customer service, I was informed that the funds used for online purchases are on hold until the company takes action to release them or deduct funds from the card. As a result, I am unable to obtain a refund for the $[redacted].00 balance remaining on the card until this process is completed.

I purchased a vanilla gift card, but some of the numbers are scratched off. I paid $5.95 to have my funds secured. Currently, I'm on the phone with customer service, requesting to speak to a supervisor. Initially, the representative resisted transferring my call, but after insisting, I was redirected. However, it seems I was not connected to a supervisor as I had hoped. The person on the line mentioned they couldn't transfer me. I wonder if they are required to allow customers to speak to a supervisor. All I am seeking is assistance, perhaps in the form of an e-card. Given that it's Christmas and I rely on vanilla gift cards regularly, I am feeling frustrated and eager to have this matter resolved promptly.
