Yesterday, I encountered two issues with my Uniden phones. My daughter's D1660-3 downstairs and my D1484-4 upstairs from Colorado. I mistakenly caused the first problem when attempting to switch from a call to an incoming one, which locked the system in the "open line" state, leaving all phones unresponsive. After consulting Verizon, the problem was identified and resolved, restoring the dial tone on both systems. However, upon trying to make a call from my upstairs Uniden handset with 47 numbers programmed in the phone book, I found all entries missing. While making a call, the handset blanked after dialing the second number. Interestingly, the downstairs phone was fully functional with the phone book intact. Despite attempts to reset by disconnecting cords and waiting, the issue persists. The answering machine screen alternates between 8 and 88, and the handset continuously displays "searching." I suspect the problem arose while re-entering numbers into the phone book, possibly affecting its functionality, as the downstairs unit remains unaffected.

I bought this phone from your store years ago and have maintained the same settings without any alterations. Lately, the phone abruptly ends calls after 4 rings, with callers hearing a message stating the mailbox hasn't been set up, despite my recorded greeting. I've confirmed my settings (6 rings, 4-minute recording time, message alert and answer mode on, security code 53, English language, and correct day/time). Even after resetting by unplugging the phone, the issue persists. I've re-recorded my message, set it to 6 rings, and asked friends to test, but the problem remains. This phone has been reliable until now, and I'm unsure how to proceed. Any assistance would be greatly valued.

I purchased a CCTV camera set from Uniden in February [redacted] for home security but recently, after replacing my internet modem, two wireless cameras are not connecting to the home WIFI. Despite contacting Uniden's technical support, the suggested solution of connecting the cameras directly to the modem via ethernet cable is not feasible due to the distance between the cameras and the modem. I am disappointed with Uniden's lack of clear technical assistance for this issue. If I had known about this limitation, I would not have chosen wireless cameras for my security system. I need a practical solution that does not involve relocating the cameras.

On December 28, [redacted], I bought a Uniden Black Box accident cam from Repco in Geraldton, WA. Since then, I've had constant issues with the camera. Despite taking it back four times, I've been told there's nothing wrong with it. Initially, it wouldn't record, and now it turns on and off while I'm driving. During a trip from Geraldton to Mandurah, it would only stay on for a few minutes before randomly shutting off and on. I was advised it could be the lead, so I tried another one, but the same problem occurred during the seven-hour drive back to Mandurah. I understand it may be out of warranty, but I am quite upset about this situation. As a retiree on a fixed income, it's challenging for me to consider purchasing a new camera, especially since I've always been satisfied with Uniden products.

My parents recently had fiber optic cable installed by Spark. My father is profoundly deaf and can only use a hearing aid compatible phone. Prior to fiber, he was successfully using a Uniden Loud & Clear X DECT SSE25 NZ [redacted]4. Spark provided Uniden DECT 6.0, but only my mother can use it (DECT1735+1 NZ [redacted]2). I have reconnected the XDECT Uniden, but the DECT 6.0 doesn’t work without its own base cradle and a Switching Power Supply Model: S008CS[redacted] Uniden AAD-065S(M). Can we purchase this part or is there an alternative way to get both Uniden models to function so that both of my parents can use the phone? Regards, Jenni M.

I have a G755 model. I contacted customer service at 1-[redacted] twice today. The first representative was unable to assist me in resolving the issue with my SD card displaying an error message. Despite downloading software and ensuring the display, internet connection, and cameras function properly, I am unable to record. After requesting further assistance and asking to speak with someone else, the representative disconnected the call. Subsequent attempts to reach out were also unsuccessful due to disconnections.
I then contacted a different customer service number listed on the website. While the representative was polite, they, too, lacked the knowledge to troubleshoot the problem. It seems that when representatives are unsure of a solution, there is no escalation to a supervisor for assistance. I am disappointed with the level of customer service provided and the understanding of your products. - ME Dorsett

While on the phone, it suddenly cut off, and now my Uniden phone, an older model, is displaying "Line on Hold," as if there's another call, which is not the case. I've managed to fix this phone on previous occasions, usually due to my own mistakes as an 80-year-old. However, this time I've attempted to resolve it without success. Unfortunately, the instructions are nowhere to be found. It appears to be stuck in call-waiting mode. Getting a new phone would be difficult for me right now, so if there's a way to assist me in reviving this one, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

My older Uniden cordless home phone, which has only experienced issues due to an 80-year-old owner "playing with buttons," suddenly displayed "Line On Hold." When I attempt to make a call by pressing Talk, it only shows "Connecting" without allowing me to dial a number. It seems to be stuck in a Call Waiting mode or something similar. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this as replacing the phone would be financially difficult for us at the moment. Thank you in advance for your help.
