I visited the ThinkGeek website looking for specific products listed for $5. I visited several GameStop stores and a local ThinkGeek store, but was unable to purchase the items at the advertised price. The website does not mention any exclusions or limitations to the offer, leading to confusion and frustration. When I tried to make the purchase in-store, I was denied even after speaking to the store manager. I am disappointed with this false advertising and the lack of transparency in the promotion. I even requested the store manager's boss's contact information but was denied. This experience has left me very dissatisfied and I am hesitant to return to the store due to these misleading practices.

Recently, during a visit to the Lynnwood Wa store, the store manager falsely accused me of theft. I had simply pointed out an item for my special disabled friend to look at, who had some money to spend. Despite being a retired detective, I was shocked at the baseless accusation. The manager asked me to leave the store and later escorted me out with security on a subsequent visit. I feel embarrassed and appalled by this treatment. I've been a loyal customer at GameStop for years, but this experience has made me hesitant to return. I believe the manager, Robin, owes me a written and in-person apology. If not, I am prepared to escalate this matter further. I hope ThinkGeek can take action to regain my trust and loyalty. It's disheartening to be treated this way, especially as someone who has never engaged in theft. I am deeply upset by this incident and seek reassurance that it won't happen again.

I recently visited the store at Countryside Mall and had an unpleasant encounter with the manager, Xan. There was a sign left up from the previous day advertising a sale on Pops without an expiration date. When I purchased some items and only one rang up as free, I inquired about the promotion. Xan initially refused to honor the deal until I mentioned the sign was misleading, prompting him to reluctantly provide the discount. He was rude throughout the interaction and claimed to be the manager when I requested to speak to someone else. I tried to escalate the issue, but he withheld contact information for higher-ups. I have struggled to find the appropriate channels to address this complaint, preferring a phone call over email communication, although I realize this may be the only recourse available.

I have encountered an issue with a recent purchase, specifically a Darth Revan lightsaber bought in San Antonio on April 18, [redacted]. The blade has been malfunctioning by flickering. I went back on May 18, [redacted], still within the 30-day return period. The manager attempted to assist but could only offer store credit as the lightsaber was deemed a final sale. When I purchased it, I made it clear I lived four hours away and inquired about the return policy. I was informed it could be returned to any ThinkGeek or GameStop with the receipt. The problem arose when I tried to return it at a different store than the original purchase location. I feel misled by the employee's failure to mention the final sale aspect. Now, I am left with a defective lightsaber that I am unable to return due to this misinformation provided at the time of purchase.
