I am currently experiencing issues with the delivery service once again. After canceling the service and requesting a refund, I received two calls two weeks ago from different individuals offering me a special weekend delivery for $9.27 due to the previous inconveniences. Today, I was supposed to receive the paper, but it did not arrive, and when I called, they couldn't locate my information in the system. I've always requested porch delivery by the front door since the 1970s due to a problem we have. Lately, the papers have been left on the sidewalk or driveway in a single unsealed plastic bag, getting wet and becoming unusable. Despite multiple complaints and assurances that the issue would be resolved, the problem persists. I am seeking assistance in having the unauthorized credit card charge removed and canceling the service once more. I have been disappointed with the outsourced customer service representatives who make promises without any follow-through. I kindly request to speak with a supervisor. Please contact me at hm# [redacted] or cell # [redacted]. I previously contacted the company at [redacted]/[redacted], but they directed me back to the Miami Herald, stating that my information is with them.

I have been experiencing issues with my newspaper delivery. Sometimes it is thrown on public property, or it is picked up before I can retrieve it. This problem did not occur with the previous carrier. I live in a rectangular cul-de-sac with ample space for the delivery person to drop the paper on my porch directly. Despite reaching out with my complaint, it has not been addressed. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter.

I have been a loyal subscriber to The Herald for quite some time. However, after my subscription ended, I was surprised to find that newspapers were still being delivered and I was subsequently billed for them without my consent. Despite numerous attempts to contact Customer Service, the issue remains unresolved. Recently, I was offered a $96.00 yearly subscription, but I don't believe I should be held accountable for charges incurred after my subscription expired. If this matter can be rectified and the $96.00 annual offer honored, I would reconsider renewing my subscription. My previous interactions with Customer Service have been unsatisfactory, with long hold times and rude agents, which has made me hesitant to deal with them further. I await your prompt response. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Rebeca T. Cooper City, FL, [redacted], for faster contact [redacted].

My name is Mr. Edmundo J. Deshon. My delivery address is:
[redacted] S W 66 St. Apt. # [redacted] B,
Miami, FL [redacted],
and my phone number is [redacted].
For the past five Sundays, I have not received my subscribed newspaper (which I have had for several years). Despite calling and receiving apologies and credits to my account, the delivery issue persists. I have also sent letters, but nothing has been done to address the problem. This ongoing situation is disappointing and does not reflect well on the standards set by the Miami Herald executives. As a loyal subscriber, I would like to enjoy receiving and reading my newspaper without constantly receiving apologies and credits.
Please take action to improve the poor delivery service I have been experiencing.
Thank you.

We are a gated community that has recently upgraded our gate system. However, there have been ongoing issues with the newspaper delivery service from the Miami Herald for the past 4 to 5 weeks. Despite multiple attempts to address the problem by calling and writing to the company, the delivery inconsistencies persist.
The newspapers are often left outside the gate, making it inconvenient for residents to retrieve them. Additionally, there have been instances of papers going missing, which is frustrating. The lack of reliable delivery has been a significant inconvenience, with multiple publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Barron's, Nuevo Herald, New York Times, and Washington Post being affected.
I will continue to report these issues, but the recurring problem of missed or stolen papers is disappointing. Yesterday's delivery brought some hope, but this morning's was once again inconsistent. It remains unclear whether this is an error on the part of the delivery person or if the papers are being tampered with by someone else.
Thank you,
Joan Morris

After canceling my services nearly a year ago, I am surprised to receive a bill from a collections company now. I pride myself on my excellent credit and would have paid the $52.67 promptly if I had been aware of it. The service was consistently late, and even after calling to have it delivered, it never arrived. When I called to cancel, I had to wait for about 15 minutes on the phone. It seems I am not the only one facing this issue, as I have noticed similar complaints online. Please rectify this situation promptly.

I have held subscriptions with The Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald for several years. Today, I was contacted by a collection agency regarding my allegedly delinquent account. I never received any prior email notifications about account issues, as it was set on auto-pay and has been problem-free. Curiously, my El Nuevo Herald subscription is unaffected. I'm unsure how attempts were made to contact me. I plan to settle any outstanding balance with the collection agency promptly. Please cease my El Nuevo Herald subscription. I valued my loyalty to your publication and hope for a more proactive approach from your company in the future before involving collection agencies.
Best Regards,

As a subscriber for over 40 years, I am disappointed in the production of news by The Herald. This newspaper from Miami fails to reflect what's happening in our city and county. Instead of focusing on local affairs, it publishes numerous writers' opinions, crime reports, and excessively long articles designed to showcase reporters for awards. These lengthy articles, spanning 3-4 pages with 6 columns per page, are repetitive and serve little purpose beyond accolades. Few actually read them except for research purposes. If The Herald concentrated on Miami and Dade issues such as the pandemic's impact on various sectors like tourism/hotels and the food industry, it would likely attract more readers. Addressing topics like voter safety, local leaders' performance, and the Black Lives Matter movement could engage the community further. Disappointed in the newspaper's lack of coverage on these important matters, many in our community, including myself, are turning to electronic media for information, leading to declining reliance on The Herald. The newspaper's struggle reflects a disconnect from local interests. Are you truly our community newspaper?

Last month, I received a bill notifying me that my trial subscription had ended and that regular prices would be charged. I promptly called to cancel but was informed I needed to pay for the time between then and the trial end date. I provided my card details and assumed the subscription was canceled. Today, a new bill arrived, and upon contacting the billing department, I learned my account (MIA-[redacted]) was not canceled as requested. Despite not receiving a cancellation code previously, today I obtained code Y502. The representative, Ana, insisted the cancellation was invalid without a code. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation. The newspaper has experienced significant changes over the years and now leans towards communism, which I cannot support. The shift to opinionated content over factual news led me to stop reading. I value unbiased reporting and will not engage with the newspaper until improvements are made.

I have been attempting to contact a representative for over two weeks regarding my father-in-law, Paul Mayhew. His account number is [redacted] and lives at [redacted] Raven, Miami Springs, FL. His subscription with an invoice of $[redacted].20 for a year expired on August 23. Being 92 years old, homebound, and on a limited income due to health issues, he cannot manage the current subscription cost considering his medical expenses. The Herald holds great importance to him. A neighbor of similar age was able to renew for $[redacted].28 for the year, which Paul could afford. If a lower rate could be offered, he would continue as a subscriber; otherwise, we will have to cancel the subscription. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I recently discovered that my subscription renewed without my knowledge, as I usually receive a renewal notice by mail. Unfortunately, I found a charge of $[redacted].92 on my credit card statement that I never authorized. Last year, I paid $[redacted].86, and I can't comprehend the significant increase in the subscription cost this year. I reached out to customer service, specifically Alex, whose call confirmation number is Y [redacted]. Alex mentioned he couldn't issue a refund and directed me to contact the main office's accounting department via email. As a long-time customer of almost 20 years, I am disappointed with this treatment. I urge you to cancel the unauthorized $[redacted].92 charge on my Visa. We can discuss a new subscription at a discounted rate. If not, I will involve my credit card company. I hope for a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you. - Gloria T.

I am facing an issue with The Miami Herald demanding payment for a subscription I never requested nor received. After contacting employee Andrew on 1/20/[redacted] regarding invoices for a subscription renewed on Dec 17, [redacted], extending to Jun 24, [redacted] due to delivery issues, I decided not to renew due to ongoing problems. Despite not responding to the invoice, I received a "Final Notice" in December [redacted] requesting $81.70, which I believe I am not obligated to pay as I did not agree to an automatic renewal. I emailed [redacted] but received no response; subsequently, A.R.M. Solutions Inc sent a collection notice for the payment. I seek assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Darrell Black. I am reaching out regarding the challenging situation I am currently facing in my life. I believe I am being targeted by individuals within the Miami Dade County community. I constantly feel stalked and monitored, hindering my ability to progress. For years, there have been ongoing incidents impacting my well-being. Despite my efforts, I have been banned from all three shelters in Miami since [redacted], making it difficult for me to seek refuge, especially during the recent pandemic. Being homeless has led to me contracting COVID-19 twice as I had to resort to sleeping in public areas for safety. Unfortunately, my pleas for assistance from the homeless trust program have not been addressed. I have also experienced unjust bans from various businesses, with a distressing incident at the airport train station involving a threatening encounter with an individual carrying a gun. The authorities' response to this incident and the bias I faced from security guards only add to my challenges. I have tried to capture evidence of these incidents, but my recordings have been mysteriously deleted by unknown hackers. I even face suspicions of food poisoning when receiving meals from charitable sources. I have a detailed story to share, and I would appreciate it if someone could reach out to me for support. Thank you for your attention.

I have been a victim of medical fraud in Miami at a hospital and nursing home. I received false diagnoses, services, medications, doctor's visits, and treatments that were never provided. This has left me homeless, and I am struggling to get legal help. Despite contacting 50 lawyers, they all say that my case is too small to pursue. Government agencies like Medicare and ACHA have not been very helpful either. I have tried to reach out to the Medical Risk department at the hospital, but they have not returned any of my calls regarding why my discharge papers were altered. The nursing home has also unlawfully refused to provide me and my doctor with my medical records. I am reaching out for advice and assistance as I do not know what to do next. Thank you for any help you can offer. - Paul Lorenzo
