I recently completed your survey and wanted to share my experience. Eight years ago, my husband and I downsized to a smaller upscale home, where we envisioned the kitchen as the heart of family gatherings. Unfortunately, in the past six months, all of our Subzero/Wolf appliances have been problematic. Today, I am awaiting a repairman from Abt in Glenview, IL to replace the sensors in my Subzero refrigerator. I will also discuss the issues with my Wolf oven, which keeps shutting off, displaying ERR on the control panel, and having timer malfunctions. Additionally, our Subzero under-counter ice maker has required repair four times, twice within a year. As we plan to remodel our second home in Naples, FL, we are considering purchasing GE appliances. Sincerely, Diane Cook.

Nightmare of Repairs:
We had a repair done by MyApplianceService.com for our Subzero DI48 model on May 11, [redacted], which cost $1,[redacted]. Unfortunately, the same issues recurred on 7/27/21 despite the initial repair. Leo initially thought it might be the sensors, but no resolution was provided. Ben later suggested replacing the sensors, with an estimated cost breakdown as follows:
- Compressor: $[redacted].95
- Sensors (2): $[redacted].98
- Filter dryer, service valve, service port: $[redacted]
- Freon: $[redacted]
- Recovery: $[redacted]
- Tax: $[redacted].19
- Labor: $1,[redacted]
Totaling: $2,[redacted].12
We are awaiting a quote for just the sensors. Despite confirming the warranty should cover this, the company insists on replacing everything or not proceeding. Assistance is needed as this is our second Subzero appliance with recurring issues over 12 years. Please advise on how to proceed. - Leland and Shirley Lai

I am facing issues with my Sub-Zero refrigerator's ice machine. After getting estimates, my decision to replace the older unit led me to Spencers in Scottsdale. Salesperson Shawn assisted us in selecting a stainless steel front model with handle options. However, upon delivery, the wrong unit arrived, meant for panels instead. This mix-up was unsettling as the correct replacement was not only $[redacted] more but also delayed until May. Despite the inconvenience caused by the error, there was a lack of an apology or any compensation for the mistake. The entire experience has left me feeling very dissatisfied with the level of customer service provided.
