I am requesting a refund of $10 for an appointment I scheduled on April 23, as detailed below: 04/23/[redacted] POS Withdrawal SS* BOOKING FEE / STYLESEAT.COM CA US - $10.00 My hairdresser, Renee Mayes, and I agreed that the service booked was not suitable. She rescheduled the appointment on Sunday, April 23, to a different service without informing me. Consequently, I canceled the initial appointment and booked a new one. Due to her unavailability on Tuesday, April 25, the appointment was rescheduled for Wednesday, April 26, which I then changed to Thursday, April 27. However, I was never refunded the original $10 booking fee. Please process the refund for the service not provided. This morning, I booked an appointment on the StyleSeat app. However, the stylist requested a separate $15 deposit through Cash App, which was not specified in the app. When I questioned this, she mentioned she no longer wanted to proceed with the appointment and advised me to cancel. Unfortunately, canceling from the app would incur a $51 fee, which I wanted to avoid. I asked the stylist to cancel since she was the one refusing the appointment to prevent me from being charged the cancellation fee, but she insisted I cancel or face the full charge. Regrettably, I ended up being charged the $51, and all I wanted was to pay through the StyleSeat app and have my hair styled.

Good morning, I wanted to inform you that I recently scheduled a hair appointment. Unfortunately, my stylist, Zaquasha Flowers, closed her Style Seat account. I made a payment for the remaining deposit on her new platform. To my surprise, Style Seat then charged me $[redacted] from my account, even though my stylist was no longer using their booking service. Can you please let me know when I can expect to receive a refund? It is crucial that I have the funds back in my account by Wednesday morning as I have important commitments to fulfill. I have included evidence of the charge from Style Seat. I would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you.

I have a concern about a recent appointment I had booked at Lana Hair by Jefferson on August 4, [redacted]. When I arrived at Variations Hair Studios at 12:00 PM for my 12:30 PM appointment, the experience turned unpleasant. Lana was dismissive when I mentioned it was my first visit and that I was unsure whom I was scheduled with. Despite showing her the text confirmation with the address and time, she claimed she had no record of my appointment. To top it off, $78 was deducted from my account for services I did not receive. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed with a refund.

Hello, my name is Charlie Plummer, and I had scheduled a dreadlock detox appointment with Kalana Webber in Honolulu, Hawai’i for $65 USD through StyleSeat. Despite providing my card details online, Kalana requested payment in cash upon arrival, but charged my debit card at the appointment time. Additionally, she did not mention her location on a military base, requiring security clearance. Unable to proceed, she charged me the full amount as a no-show fee, contradicting the agreement's 25% fee policy for no-shows without early cancellation. Kalana offered another appointment but insisted on the same fee. I am seeking a refund as her actions seem misleading and not aligned with StyleSeat's policies. I can provide our conversation as evidence to support my claim.

I noticed a charge of $35.00 from my bank account for a StyleSeat membership on 10-26-23. I did not sign up for a free trial or authorize any membership after a trial period. I have not set up any bank account for automatic withdrawals. Kindly cancel the unauthorized subscription, refund the charged amount of $35.00, and remove the charges. I had intended to sign up soon, but not at this moment. Please refund the money to my bank account promptly. Thank you, Phyllis.

I had an appointment with London India Love @locsaddiction on September 11, and I paid her directly through Cash App after my service. I wasn't aware that StyleSeat would also charge me. When I notified her about this, she said she would contact StyleSeat regarding the double payment. It's been six days, and despite reaching out to her via text, I haven't received a response. I would like either a refund through StyleSeat or for her to return the money I sent her via Cash App.

Hello, I am requesting a refund as the hairstylist charged me for a service that was not provided. Despite canceling three weeks ago, I saw a charge on my phone for $[redacted] for being a no-show. I contacted the bank to dispute the charge as I followed the proper cancellation procedure outlined by StyleSeat. I also informed the hairstylist via text about my dissatisfaction, but received no response. This situation is concerning, and the bank suggested it might be fraudulent. I expect my funds to be returned promptly as I acted honestly and canceled within the specified time frame. Your company should be able to verify my cancellation in your records. Thank you.
