Several months ago, I bought a Skilsaw model SPT70WT for my husband. Unfortunately, due to his recent illness, he just unpacked it today only to find that some essential items are missing - a rip fence, a hex wrench, and a blade wrench. I am willing to pay for these missing parts, but he insists on having them before using the saw. He is 88 years old, a retired soldier and uranium miner, with a history of heart surgery and strokes. Ensuring he can safely use this saw is a priority. Your assistance in procuring these missing items would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Mrs. Sally B. Reed.

Skil Angle Grinder Fire Incident
I purchased my Skil angle grinder, model [redacted]-01, back in March [redacted], and it has been a reliable tool for over a decade. Recently, while working on a project cutting sheet steel, I encountered a frightening situation - the motor suddenly stopped working, followed by smoke and flames emanating from the motor housing. Luckily, I was in my garage where I could safely place the tool on the concrete floor, extinguishing the fire rapidly without any harm. I'm curious about what might have caused this unexpected event. Could it be due to the brushes being excessively worn, as I have never replaced them? I'm considering getting a new angle grinder, likely another Skil model, given my positive experience with this brand.

I bought a table saw last November, but it broke down in January. After no updates from the service center Skil recommended, I contacted Skil for information. On 4/14, Skil informed me a new saw would arrive by 4/21, but it's now 4/25 with no saw and no updates. Skil now advises me to contact the service place directly. The whole process has been frustrating, especially since I've had the saw for less time than it's been in for repairs. It's disappointing that I have to take charge of the warranty repair process myself.
