I was promised by Securifi that the "Almond 3" would work with my Gig service from Comcast, either as a router or extender. While on Comcast's "Extreme [redacted]," getting up to [redacted] Mbps down/25 Mbps up was fine. However, when I upgraded to Gig service (up to 1 Gig down/35 Mbps up), my speeds with the "Almond 3" as an extender dropped to around [redacted] Mbps down/6 Mbps up. This is an 83% reduction from what was promised. Despite multiple attempts by Securifi's Tech Support and Supervisors to fix this, the speeds didn't improve significantly. Unable to return to the previous plan, as Comcast no longer offers it, I sought a replacement for the "Almond 3" since it couldn't deliver the promised Gig service. Unfortunately, Securifi requested an "Order Number," which I couldn't provide since the unit was a gift. They didn't offer any alternative solutions, going back on their promise and leaving me in a difficult situation. This negative experience has soured my opinion of Securifi after previously good interactions with their tech support team.
