I have submitted Form II to Sandals following a post-travel survey, but I have yet to receive any response from Customer Service. My attempts to reach out to Unique Travel have also been unsuccessful.
Regarding Booking Number [redacted], I arranged a honeymoon trip for my granddaughter, S.Y. (T.S.), to the Bahamas starting on July 19, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the resort closed due to COVID-19 the day after their arrival, significantly impacting their experience. Despite staying two extra nights due to flight limitations, their stay was stressful. They faced challenges with flight schedules and luggage damage, valuing $[redacted] in losses reduced to a $75 credit by United Airlines. Moreover, issues at the airport in Georgetown required an additional $[redacted] payment for a previously booked flight through Unique Travel. Given the trip insurance coverage purchased at booking, which includes trip interruption for events like hurricanes and terrorist attacks, I am requesting a full refund for the booking due to the pandemic situation.

Upon arriving at Sandals South Coast in Jamaica, my spouse and I encountered an issue with our air conditioner that persisted after multiple failed attempts at getting it fixed. This led to a frustrating evening without the possibility of showering due to the unbearable heat in our room. Despite persistent requests, it wasn't until my spouse insisted on changing rooms that the hotel staff took action. The delay and lack of communication left us dissatisfied, especially considering the premium price we paid for this experience. Our disappointing encounter with the customer service at this resort has made us reconsider our choice to stay at Sandals resorts in the future.
