Lately, our daily newspaper delivery has been consistently late by a few hours, or doesn't arrive at all. For those of us who still enjoy reading the hard copy every day, this delay disrupts our routine and becomes frustrating. Additionally, the diminishing content, increased reprints of articles from the NYT and WaPost, and rising costs are making it challenging to continue subscribing.

Subject: Recent Delivery Issues in East County Area
I have noticed a significant decline in the delivery service in our area. Despite being informed about a new distributor being assigned to our region, there have been ongoing issues with receiving the newspaper regularly. We have missed multiple editions, with the last paper delivered on 12/9, despite the assurance of a resolution. More frequent updates regarding the situation would be greatly appreciated to understand the progress being made. The lack of consistent service is becoming a concern, and myself, along with my neighbor and sister, are considering discontinuing our subscription if the delivery concerns persist.
Best regards,
L. K.

I am no longer receiving my newspaper at my front door. I reside in a condominium at [redacted] Anchorage Lane, unit #[redacted]. Unluckily, all newspapers for the building are being left in the lobby, requiring me and other residents to retrieve them. Lately, when I go down to the lobby, the newspapers are already gone, likely picked up by others. Despite multiple calls to request a replacement, the automated system denies the request. I previously contacted customer service, assuring me that front door delivery would resume, but it has not. Due to the lobby delivery situation, my subscription newspaper is not reaching me as expected.

For the last week, we have not received our paper. I recently discovered that despite updating our address to [redacted] Garden Valley Glen, Escondido, for four months, bills were still being sent to our previous address, [redacted] Los Verdes, Fallbrook. This led to delinquent payments as I didn't receive bills. After paying what was owed, I was informed that delivery would resume the next day, but it still hasn't. I've been on the phone for hours trying to reach a representative and have faced frustration with multiple calls being unanswered. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this level of customer service. I am requesting credit for the days without delivery and insisting on the correct address for future deliveries. After speaking with a representative this morning, I am hopeful that our new address is now correctly updated. However, despite assurances, the paper was not delivered as promised both yesterday and today. This experience has caused significant frustration. - J. Wood

In the past two weeks, my paper has not been delivered on four occasions. Despite assurances of a replacement, none was sent. This is not an isolated incident as there have been multiple instances of non-delivery over the years. I have been a loyal subscriber for nearly six decades, with reliable delivery for most of that time.
I would appreciate transparency regarding whether my subscription is valued. If the service cannot be consistent, I will have to cancel. It is disheartening to consider ending a long-standing subscription due to unreliable delivery.
I am interested in renewing, but only if there is a commitment to providing the service paid for. Your prompt response on the matter is appreciated.

I am experiencing the same issue as others have mentioned - I haven't received my newspapers on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. When I contacted customer service, the representative, who spoke limited English, could only read from a script. Even the supervisor, who was slightly more fluent in English, still relied heavily on a script. What frustrated me the most was that $80 was debited from my account yesterday without any issues.
I am not interested in online access; I simply want to receive the newspaper I paid for. If I have to call customer service, I expect to speak with someone who is fluent in English. Unfortunately, today is Thursday, and once again, I have not received my paper. It's frustrating that they have taken my money without providing the service I paid for.

I've recently discovered from your automated phone system that newspaper delivery is a consistent problem in my area. It's a frustrating experience where I often have to search for the paper each morning, finding it under a vehicle or wet in the gutter. On days like today, there's no delivery at all, and when I tried calling the provided number, there was no response. Contacting the offshore customer service line led to difficulties in communication. I attempted to resolve the issue by requesting to cancel the print edition and keep the digital subscription, but the offshore representatives were unable to accommodate this request. It seems they prefer to maintain both the print and digital subscriptions, promising a service they can't reliably provide. This situation is disappointing, especially considering I've been a subscriber since [redacted].
