For the past 2-3 weeks, I have been unable to check in successfully to shop online at Safeway. I have physical limitations that prevent me from shopping in-store, so online shopping has been my go-to for years. I've been trying to reset my password since the one I used to use doesn't seem to be working anymore. Despite numerous attempts to change the password, I haven't had any success. If I can't resolve this issue, my online shopping days with Safeway are sadly over.

I placed an order for $[redacted] and some change, but they forgot to include a whole tote of my food. My order was missing meat, milk, and the tomato sauce jar had a broken lid. They also brought the wrong salad dressing. I was offered a redelivery or refund for the missing items, but I received a text saying they couldn't deliver without any further explanation. I haven't received any reimbursement either. Despite being assured of a redelivery, it has been two days since the initial delivery on Saturday and today is Tuesday. I have tried calling multiple times, but no one is answering. I don't have access to a car as my husband uses it for work. I'm willing to place a new order if the minimum requirement is met, but I expect a refund for the missing items and replacements for the damaged and incorrect products.

I had a delivery scheduled last night between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., but the driver, John, was delayed. After some communication issues, he informed me he would arrive by 3:30 p.m. This delay was frustrating and unacceptable, causing me to waste my entire afternoon. Our delivery (Order #: [redacted]-[redacted]) was scheduled for 8-9 am today but has not arrived by 10 am. Despite attempting to contact customer service, we were told there is no information available and that we would need to wait for a call back. As we handle this during our work day, spending over $[redacted] on this order, the lack of communication is disappointing and frustrating. The absence of updates between operations and customers needs improvement to avoid situations like this.

I need assistance with my recent grocery delivery. My order #[redacted], amounting to $[redacted].95, was delivered yesterday, 9-8-18, to [redacted] Tanya Way in Roseville, CA [redacted]. Unfortunately, over 12 items from my order were missing, even though I was charged for them. On a brighter note, all the frozen dinners were included in the delivery, which is essential for me as an elderly and handicapped individual who relies heavily on this service.
To add to the confusion, eleven items that I did not order were mistakenly included. These items are not of use to me and are currently sitting on my counter awaiting resolution. It appears there might have been a mix-up during the delivery process.
I mistakenly mentioned yesterday that my bank is billed directly; however, Safeway charges my Discover card for the deliveries. I would appreciate receiving the missing items to avoid the inconvenience of reordering them. Additionally, I am unsure what to do with the extra items mistakenly delivered to me: 2 apples, 2 tomatoes, a 10-count Sprite mini-pack, 12-pack of Arrowhead water, a bottle of Real Lemon juice, a box of Celestial tea, a small can of Bush's baked beans, 1 Dinty Moore beef stew, and 1 Chef Boyardee beef ravioli.

However, three items were missing from my order, including Reddi Wip, Signature frozen vegetables, and a half gallon of Lucerne 2% milk. I urgently require the milk as my son, who is a senior citizen, is unwell and unable to consume solid food due to an ulcer. He is in pain and plans to visit the ER tomorrow seeking relief. The missing items are crucial, especially considering my mobility issues prevent me from shopping in-store. Online grocery delivery from Safeway has been a great help, particularly given my circumstances. I hope to have the missing items, especially the milk, promptly delivered to assist my son, who is suffering.

However, in my message, I mistakenly referred to a "Signature" item as Signature Frozen Vegetables, when it was actually a SIGNATURE FARMS VEGETABLE TRAY priced at $6.89. I placed an order for Thanksgiving groceries that were supposed to be delivered tonight. However, the Safeway truck left while we were arriving home. Despite the driver seeing us, they did not stop. I contacted Customer Service requesting for the delivery to be reattempted, but they said it wasn't possible until Saturday, which is after Thanksgiving. I offered to pick up the groceries myself but was denied. This lack of assistance and resolution from Customer Service led me to cancel my order. I have experienced issues with Safeway in the past, such as overcharging or missing items, but this incident has convinced me to never shop there again. I've been eagerly waiting for my order for two days and now feel let down. I believe I could have shopped for everything myself and for the entire neighborhood in the time I've spent waiting. I intend to share my negative experience with everyone I know as Safeway's service has been unreliable, expensive, and ultimately not worth anyone's time.

I received an online grocery delivery from your company on April 26. However, several items were missing from my order. I only received bananas, apples, grapefruit, chocolate, honey maid, coffee cups, and garlic. I was charged for all items on my list, but the rest were not delivered. I also received the wrong ice cream, despite requesting no substitutions if items were out of stock. Can you confirm if the missing items will be delivered later or were not available? The items missing are mushrooms, mini cucumbers, baby kale, spinach greens, cilantro, beef stew, sour cream, celery, bell peppers, two types of cheese, baby carrots, plugra butter, kefir, yogurt ranch, and Pillsbury Cinnabon buns. I sent an email to Safeway delivery support a week ago but have not received a response yet.

I received my delivery recently and encountered some issues with the products. The Starbucks Vanilla Latte I ordered had an expiration date of the next day, 7/5, which was too soon considering I prefer items with a longer shelf life. Additionally, the snap peas I received had noticeable brown spots in the center, making them unusable. This is the second time I've had problems with my orders, with a previous instance involving expiring meat that I had to freeze.
Due to these ongoing issues, I no longer wish to continue using your delivery service. Please cancel my membership and provide a refund for the unsatisfactory items. I recently placed an order with Safeway for groceries and paid for a one-hour delivery window. After waiting over 4 hours and not receiving any update despite multiple phone calls, my day off was wasted waiting for the order. A manager named Anthony from the Novato store apologized, provided a credit, and I reordered my groceries two weeks later with a 4-hour window on a Tuesday evening. However, the delivery did not show up at all. Despite attempting to contact them, I did not receive a satisfactory resolution. Safeway's use of Doordash for alcohol delivery has caused multiple issues, leading me to conclude that I will no longer be using Safeway for my grocery needs.

I placed my order on March 16 with a confirmation number for April 1 delivery, but nothing arrived. After a call on April 2 rescheduling to August 2 (which also didn't happen), there was no further communication. When reaching out later, they offered credit less than the order value without providing any other solution. I need the perishable items urgently at 74 years old. Additionally, Safeway (Albertsons) on Instacart is monopolizing delivery choices, making it impossible to schedule deliveries from other stores. Safeway seems unresponsive, and there are no available delivery slots. This seems unfair and concerning. It might help to contact Albertsons for a detailed explanation and to fulfill the original order promptly. This issue seems widespread and needs attention. I visited Safeway in Dover, DE on December 23 for some last-minute Christmas shopping. I've been shopping at Safeway for a few months and love the variety they offer, the store's cleanliness, and the clearly marked items for customer safety.
I went to the meat counter to order the advertised shrimp and crab leg platter, but was told to return on the 24th at 11:00. When I came back, I was informed they didn't have my order since they had allegedly called me, which I never received. Instead of offering an alternative, I left due to the long line.
Although I had to settle for the ham I bought earlier, it was disappointing as I had family coming over for dinner. I've been recommending Safeway to many people, but wanted to share this experience as another customer mentioned a similar issue with their order not being ready.

Order number [redacted]4: My delivery from DoorDash arrived this morning, and unfortunately, there were items missing from my order totaling over $60. The driver initially only gave me 2 kitchen items in a bag, but after inquiring about the rest, she brought 2 more bags; however, 5 items were still missing. Despite finding one item, she mentioned that the eggnog might have been delivered to someone else. The items missing from my order are as follows:
- Lucerne Egg Nog, 64 oz, $5.99
- Lean Cuisine Herb Roasted Chicken, $4.49
- Lean Cuisine Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, $4.49
I kindly request a refund for these missing items to be credited back to my card. I prefer not to receive a credit towards my next delivery as I have decided not to use the delivery service again. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
