I am Nicole Jones and I recently had an unpleasant experience at the Rodeway Inn in Chesapeake, VA. I was overcharged $61.57 and when I inquired about the additional fee, they were unable to provide an explanation. They assured me of a refund on 6/25/16, but as of today's date, 6/30/16, I have not received it. Since my check-out on 6/26/16, I have been trying to contact them daily, only to be disconnected, hung up on, or instructed to call back. Despite the promise that a manager would return my call, they did not ask for my contact information and disconnected the call. In addition to the billing issue, my room was unclean, lacking towels, and a microwave as requested upon check-in. This level of customer service and cleanliness is unacceptable.

I made a room reservation at Rodeway Inn in Salem, OR on June 2 using my debit card. I opted to pay in cash upon check-in, but my card was still used to hold the room. When I arrived, my special needs request wasn't accommodated. Although the night clerk assured me my card wasn't charged, a $[redacted] pending debit is affecting my access to those funds. I've tried to resolve this at the hotel, but the clerk needs to fax a decline to my bank. Despite my efforts, I've been unable to facilitate this. I urgently need my funds released before the pending status expires in 21 days. This hotel room I stayed in was in poor condition. The toilet seat was broken, the bed frame couldn't support the box spring, and the over sink light was blinding. The microwave outlet was broken, the refrigerator warm, and the freezer leaking water. On a positive note, the floor was relatively clean and there were only a few cockroaches. Room [redacted] could use a visit from the quality assurance department if they have one!

I am a 57-year-old disabled veteran with PTSD and Multiple Sclerosis. Upon returning to Northern California to search for housing, my caregiver and I rented a room at the Rodeway Inn in Rohnert Park for 3 days. We requested to extend our stay but were unexpectedly denied the room, despite confusing claims made by the staff about us having changed reservations multiple times and mentioning people who are not related to us. Despite showing our interest in staying and offering to prove the misunderstanding, they insisted we leave. This situation triggered my PTSD, causing stress and panic as we had no transportation arranged until two days later. We had to find a new hotel in a different city at a higher cost, impacting our budget as we couldn't afford accommodations with kitchen facilities. This financial burden has caused me ongoing anxiety and emotional distress, affecting my ability to afford proper meals vital for managing my Multiple Sclerosis. Given my limited income from Social Security and Disability, the unforeseen expenses have stretched my finances, leading to borrowing money to cover the increased costs. I seek resolution, compensation, and an apology for the inconvenience, embarrassment, mental anguish, and financial strain caused by this experience.

During my stay at the Rodeway Inn in Clarksville, Tennessee, everything went well until the issue arose with an unexpected charge of $[redacted] for a missing blanket. Upon calling to address this, I encountered a front desk attendant who handled the situation poorly, insisting on the blanket's return before refunding the charge, despite its poor condition with cigarette burns in a nonsmoking room. I explained that the blanket was turned in due to my son falling ill on it the morning prior, to which the attendant rudely disagreed. The conversation escalated, with the attendant becoming disrespectful, raising his voice and ultimately hanging up. This behavior ruined what was meant to be a pleasant family visit during my time off as an active-duty soldier. I hope the employee is held accountable, issues an apology, and refunds the unwarranted charge.

During my stay at Rodeway Inn in Hermitage, I encountered issues with a running toilet and a broken shower in my room. When I notified the front desk, the staff member was unhelpful and rude, refusing to change my room despite the noise disturbance. After contacting customer service, the front desk hung up on their call as well. This poor experience has left me unable to sleep and dissatisfied with the service provided. I booked a room at Rodeway Inn in Portland. Unfortunately, only three hours after arriving, someone slashed both my front and rear tires. I immediately informed the front desk and the police, who filed a report. The following morning, new staff members seemed indifferent to our situation. By noon, we were still outside trying to arrange for tire replacements. Being eight months pregnant and from Spokane, this was distressing as our only vehicle was affected. I am requesting reimbursement for the tire costs and was unable to sleep that night, constantly checking on the car to prevent further damage. I have been traveling since the early hours to avoid traffic. I stopped at the Rodeway Inn in Fort Smith, AR, to rest before continuing my journey. Despite arriving before the 3:00 pm check-in time, I was charged a $30 fee, which I found odd considering the room I was given seemed ready and clean. During my recent stay at the St Charles location on Harry S Truman, I encountered an issue with the heat not working in the room. When I contacted the front office, they seemed dismissive and questioned if the room was even being used. Despite my complaint, I did not receive any follow-up from the staff, and I had to endure a cold room throughout the night. I stayed at the hotel due to being stuck in the area during a winter storm and needed to be close to work. I believe it is important for the staff to show more sensitivity to guests' needs and address complaints promptly. It would have been appreciated if they had at least shown concern and investigated the issue. Moving forward, I hope they improve their response to such situations and prioritize guest comfort.

I want to share my recent experience at the Ridgeway Inn in Riverside, California on Magnolia. Unfortunately, my stay was marred by a bed bug infestation that the management failed to disclose. As a result, my personal belongings and even my truck are now infested. I am also disappointed that I did not receive my $50 deposit back. At this point, I am not concerned about the deposit, I would like a complimentary stay at another Ridgeway Inn in the area. The situation was so severe that we had to switch rooms at 3 a.m. and we couldn't sleep due to being bitten throughout the night. I have photographic and video evidence of the ordeal.

For the past four hours, there has been a leak in my bathroom from the upstairs unit. The water has flooded my bathroom, creating a strong urine-like smell and making it impossible for me to get ready for work. I informed the office about the issue, and they mentioned that a plumber is on the way but will not arrive until later this afternoon. During my stay at Rodeway Inn for four days since December 8, [redacted], I encountered several issues. However, the water pressure in the shower continued to be a problem. Despite requesting maintenance at 3:00 pm, the issue persisted, and when I asked for a room change, it was denied. Eventually, my boyfriend had to fix the water problem himself. The following morning, the manager, Miriam, asked us to leave and refused to provide a receipt for the five days we had already stayed. She alleged that my boyfriend disrespected her, which led to her refusal to address the shower issue and provide a receipt. The interaction with the manager became heated as she expressed reluctance in dealing with the situation appropriately.

I have stayed at Rodeway Inn for four days since my check-in on 12/08/[redacted]. Unfortunately, for the first three days, I did not have any blankets and experienced very low water pressure in the shower. It wasn't until 9:00 pm on Dec. 11 that I received one blanket. Today, when trying to take a shower, there was no water at all. I requested maintenance at 3 pm, but the issue has not been resolved, and I still have no water. I asked for a different room, but this was also denied. I am currently paying $70 per night, and this level of service is unacceptable.

I attempted to book a five-night stay at the Roadway Inn in Carson City, Nevada, but it mistakenly booked a Roadway Inn in North Carolina instead. I quickly contacted Agoda to explain the error, but they informed me that the third party indicated the Roadway Inn has a no refund policy.
