On December 17, [redacted], I closed my Money Market Savings Account #[redacted]28. Later, on December 27, I received a notice indicating a balance of -36.57 as of December 17, [redacted]. However, by January 31, [redacted], I received a letter showing a $35 deposit and a zero balance.
I am confused as to why there was an overdraft and fee if the account was closed. Has this mistake been corrected? Can you confirm that the balance is now zero and that I do not owe any money to Rockland Trust?
I tried calling but did not get a clear answer. Despite being promised a call back, I have not received one for several days. Could you please provide me with an update on the account status? Thank you.
