I am very disappointed with my recent purchase of a Quaker Instant Oatmeal individual packet. Upon opening it, I was shocked and disgusted to find the entire pack covered in a dark substance resembling manure. This incident has greatly upset me, especially considering I regularly purchase this product for my son's breakfast. I feel compelled to share my negative experience on social media to raise awareness about the possible harmful chemicals used to preserve such items. I urge you to address this matter promptly before I choose to escalate it publicly, potentially damaging Quaker's reputation. Please reach out to me as soon as possible to resolve this matter discreetly.
Sincerely,
Ms. H.

I have been a loyal consumer of Quaker Oats for many years without any issues. However, my recent purchase of a bag of Cheddar Rice Crisps from Publix turned into a nightmare. While enjoying the crisps, I discovered a fried roach in the last one that I pulled out of the bag. This disgusting experience left me feeling sick. I have kept the bag with the roach as proof of the incident.
Given that this is a health concern, I am uncertain about the proper course of action. Should I reach out to Publix corporate offices regarding this matter? I believe that a reasonable resolution should be discussed due to the distress caused by this incident. I would appreciate a prompt response from your end.
Sincerely,
Janet R.

I have been purchasing Quaker Oats products for years without any issues. However, yesterday, I bought a small bag of your Cheddar Rice Crisps from Publix. While enjoying them, I was shocked to find a fried roach at the bottom of the bag. This experience has left me extremely disgusted and I can no longer trust Quaker Oats products. I have pictures of the roach and have kept the bag for reference.
Would it be appropriate to reach out to Publix Corporate Supermarket in Jax., Fl regarding this health concern? I believe a fair resolution should be discussed for the distress caused. If needed, I am willing to share the pictures via email.
Sincerely,
Janet R.

We recently disposed of around $50 worth of Quaker oat products due to the high levels of weed killer found in the items. My spouse, whose immune system is weakened by cancer, and I are disappointed that measures were not taken to prevent this issue. The products we discarded included cereal, instant and non-instant oatmeal, and snack bars. One of the most alarming findings was that Quaker Old Fashioned Oats had levels exceeding 1,000ppb, while Cheerios and Lucky Charms also had varying levels detected.
Glyphosate, the weed killer present, disrupts the shikimate pathway in plants, affecting their essential nutrient absorption. Although humans do not possess this pathway, glyphosate can harm the gut bacteria crucial for our immune system. Furthermore, its similarity to glycine allows it to impact brain function, bone marrow, and genetic material, potentially causing long-term negative effects on health. Eliminating glyphosate from our bodies is challenging once it has entered our system.

As a great-grandmother, I've faced similar issues with cereal packaging for over 40 years with my children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren. I believe it's time for your company to consider more practical and user-friendly packaging, such as Ziploc or resealable options. It's frustrating to see precious cereal go to waste and get stale due to inadequate packaging. With advancements in technology, I urge your team to prioritize making cereal packaging more convenient for families like mine who rely on your products. Thank you for addressing this concern. Sincerely, a frustrated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

I have experienced issues twice now in the last few months with my Quaker Oats Quick Barley Oats. After storing them in my pantry in a large gallon size zip lock bag for freshness, within a week of opening, I found thousands of tiny brown bugs crawling over the box and in the bag. Dishearteningly, I had to discard the entire box and bag both times it occurred. Despite checking the expiration dates and confirming they were not expired, this problem recurred identically with two separate purchases, while my other oat boxes remained bug-free. I have documented the latest infestation with several pictures, and am willing to share them via email for review. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have a sweet suggestion for Quaker! How about releasing oatmeal in pouches similar to applesauce, but a bit larger? As a busy parent, getting my little girl to eat oatmeal is always a messy adventure. She's 18 months old and insists on feeding herself, resulting in oatmeal everywhere but her mouth. Using reusable applesauce pouches has been a struggle due to the small filling hole. A pouch option would make breakfast much simpler for us. I'm sure many parents would appreciate this convenient choice, especially for toddlers. I believe this idea would be a hit in the market. Give it a try, Quaker! I'd be the first in line to purchase several boxes.

I recently purchased a box of 20.5oz Captain Crunch Berries, but upon opening it, I found the cereal to be stale and unfit for consumption. When I addressed this with the store where I made the purchase, I was informed they couldn't assist because the box had been opened, and they couldn't take back opened products. Additionally, they highlighted that they couldn't refund me since the sell-by date was July 09, [redacted], considering it out of date. I believe it's crucial to bring this matter to your attention as it concerns your product. If you need further information, feel free to contact me.

I am experiencing difficulty finding masa harina de maiz in stores. While other types are available, they do not match the texture I need for my traditional family recipes. I use masa harina de maiz to cook dishes that hold cultural significance for me. I urge the store to restock this specific ingredient so that I can continue preparing these cherished meals.

On January 5, [redacted], I was shocked to find a large screw in my bowl of Quaker Instant Grits Original. Due to my medical condition, Short Bowel Syndrome caused by several surgeries, my diet is very restricted. I mix Grits, eggs, and Banatrol each morning to suit my needs. Discovering a screw in my food was distressing, as it's not something I can include in my diet. Even though I still rely on Grits for my special dietary requirements, I believe it's vital to inform Quaker about this incident. I have a photo of the screw found in the Grits package and I hope they can address this issue.

I've been purchasing Apple Cinnamon Rice Cakes for years and recently bought a case of 6 assorted Rice Cakes from Amazon to save money. Unfortunately, the case included 2 Apple Cinnamon, 2 Caramel, and 2 White Cheddar which I find awful and unable to eat. I'm considering giving them to birds. Could you please provide a coupon for 2 packages of rice cakes so I can enjoy something I like? I would truly appreciate it as I dislike wasting money in this way.

I typically purchase the cylindrical oatmeal containers, but recently decided to buy a flavored box with individual servings. I noticed one with raspberries on the packaging. To my disappointment, it wasn't red like raspberries when I opened it and didn't taste like raspberries either. It turned out to be the Original flavor. This felt misleading as none of the cylindrical containers have fruit featured. I ended up feeling like I overpaid for plain oatmeal. It's frustrating that the packaging portrayed something different from what was inside. While I admit I should have read the box more carefully, it seems deceptive to display misinformation on the packaging. I'd appreciate a coupon for a flavored box to remedy this situation.
