I recently had a new DVR installed in my house by Dish Network. The technician had some free time because I had to leave the house for a quick emergency. When I returned, he had a Polk Audio System connected. I didn't really want it, but felt obliged to purchase it for $[redacted]. If it worked well, I would probably keep it. I am experiencing sound interruptions every 20 minutes. Dish Network suggested I contact support for a return. A technician came out but couldn't resolve the issue. I bought a Polk PSW111 subwoofer from Crutchfield in [redacted]. Lately, it's been making odd noises even when not in use. Despite checking the cables, the issue persists. Polk's customer service suggested sending the part to California for repairs, but the potential cost is unknown. I believe Polk should take some responsibility for the premature failure, even though the warranty has expired. The speaker's performance in five years is disappointing compared to Cambridge Soundworks speakers bought in [redacted] that are still working well. I hope for a more satisfactory solution from Polk, as their customer service has not met expectations so far. Thank you.

I purchased my HST-10 speaker in early summer, and it appears to be about 1 year old. The red light on the back is flashing, and there is no sound coming from it. I require a new amplifier board. Due to the Christmas season, I have the opportunity to purchase one for $[redacted] USD, with a 20% discount. I reside in Canada, so I will need to cover all additional fees, taxes, and shipping, although the exact costs are unknown at this point. This experience has definitely taught me to avoid Polk products in the future.
