I have an LG Tribute 5 phone that I am attempting to connect with your Plantronics [redacted] PLT device. The pairing process went smoothly and LG support advised us to enable the Bluetooth setting within Google Voice settings. When making calls on my phone or receiving incoming calls, the [redacted] provides clear audio. However, when I press the red button for two seconds and it prompts with "say command," upon stating "call Bobby's mobile," it fails to recognize the command properly. Instead, it might suggest opening an app or dialing a random contact. Strangely, when using the voice app directly on the phone, it accurately interprets the commands. The Plantronics device recognizes that I am speaking but struggles to understand the actual command given.

I am wondering if the Plantronics CS540 Wireless Headset, BH #PLCS540HS • MFR #[redacted]-01, is compatible with the Panasonic Link2Cell Cordless Telephone with Digital Answering Machine, Model KX-TGF775. I reached out to Panasonic, and they advised me to check with Plantronics to confirm the headset's compatibility. If the Plantronics headset is not suitable for use with my phone, could you suggest an alternative option? Thank you. - Mike M.

I have a Plantronics Bluetooth PLT5200 headset that's around 2 years old. The dongle is plugged into my laptop's USB 3.0 port. The LED on the dongle can be orange or blue. When using the Bluetooth, if I sit directly in front of my laptop with the dongle 18" away from the earpiece, my iPhone 12 reception is fine. However, if I move even slightly, the audio breaks up, and people have trouble hearing me. I've had this issue for over a year, and it's really bothering me now. I keep the earpiece off when not in use. It stays in the USB charger base attached to my laptop, always on. When I turn it on, it shows 6 hours of talking time. The earpiece works fine otherwise. How can I improve its performance? What is the ideal distance from the dongle for uninterrupted service? Could it be a line-of-sight problem? I paid a significant amount for this device and expected better quality.

Hello, I have been buying Plantronics Bluetooth headsets for years. Unfortunately, the last three I got in [redacted] only lasted about three months each. I really like the product and just ordered a new one from Amazon. I am just curious why the recent ones are not as durable as the ones I bought before. Despite this issue, the headset itself is excellent. Each purchase is over $[redacted], and I hope for a longer lifespan since I use it daily for work.
