I have been a devoted fan since [redacted] and have seen the highs and lows of Philadelphia sports. Despite disagreements with team decisions, I understand they are made for the team's benefit. Loyalty as a fan is unwavering, even during tough times like trades, suspensions, or injuries, all leading to hopes for championships. Recently, I am confused and disappointed by the removal of "God Bless America," a song that has inspired Philadelphia sports fans. It's saddening to see external pressures leading to the banning of Kate Smith's rendition. Nowadays, historical aspects are criticized based on modern opinions, resulting in the destruction of significant symbols. I regretfully must withdraw my support from the Philadelphia Flyers team, including all merchandise I own. I urge the front office to reflect on recent songs with harmful messages towards the protesting organizations and reconsider their decision. This misstep has left many fans questioning their loyalty. Thank you for the memories, but my allegiance has been strained. Donald A. Farina

As a longtime Flyers fan, I am disappointed with the organization's choice to remove the Kate Smith statue and song. I am not a fan of Kate Smith's music, but it seems the organization is giving in to extreme viewpoints. Kate Smith was a national hero during WWII, and it is absurd that certain groups want to distort history to fit their agenda. The accusations of racism against Ms. Smith are being misrepresented. It is important to understand the complete history and facts before rushing to judgment. I will be withdrawing my support from the Flyers in favor of a team that does not intertwine politics and sports in this manner and does not succumb to rewriting history.

I was watching the Flyers game last weekend when the announcers mentioned a buy one get one free ticket promotion for remaining games in December until 6 p.m. I visited the website they provided but had difficulties accessing the BOGO offer despite multiple attempts before 6 p.m. Around 6:15 p.m., Bill Clement announced that the offer had been extended until the end of the game. I tried unsuccessfully again and then called the phone number provided. I spoke with a ticket agent and their supervisor, who informed me the offer had expired, even though the game was still ongoing, showing a lack of proper communication on the extended offer. Later that night, I left a voicemail for someone at the organization regarding tickets. I received a call back from Angelo from Spectacor the next day. Despite his attempts to send me a link for discounted first-level seats for the December 19th game, there were issues with the email link. When I asked if they could honor the BOGO offer, they declined after consulting with a supervisor. As a lifelong fan of the team since the late 60s, I find this outcome very disappointing. -John S. My son, a NMU student, was in a car accident involving "tub push" as reported online. Despite breaking both legs, he persevered to complete the semester. While he's home for the holidays, I wanted to surprise him with Flyers tickets. Unfortunately, the only game available is against the Rangers on 12/23. I'm struggling to find six handicap-accessible seats together. I need this for my son, his three brothers, his mother, and myself. Hockey has always been a part of their lives, and watching the Flyers is a tradition. How can I reach out to get assistance with this?
