I am having trouble with the new 1-button fridge in my travel trailer. I am unsure how to operate it without a manual or know which model it is. When connected to my truck, which has a trailer tow package with an extra battery, the fridge does not make any sounds or cool down after waiting for a few hours. I am unsure if I need to push the button to activate the LED light so the fridge will run from my truck. In the past, fridges had the auto, off, gas, electric switch along with a cold setting which was easier to use than the current 1-button system. I wish for an upgrade back to the older switch system. How can I get the fridge to run from my vehicle connection?

I recently purchased a used [redacted] Jayco Jayflight from a private seller and I'm thrilled with the layout. The seller assured me everything was in working order, but I've been having trouble with the fridge running on gas. Despite gas in the tanks and the valves open, the fridge light kept blinking, indicating a problem. I tried troubleshooting by switching tanks, checking for leaks with soapy water, and verifying the gas flame outside the fridge. A friend mentioned a recall on fridges, but I'm not sure if that's related to my model. The fridge works fine on AC, but not on gas. Any advice on what to do next, besides taking it to a dealership? Hello and thank you for reaching out for assistance. My refrigerator, registered with Norcold under my phone number [redacted], was purchased for $[redacted] two years and three months ago. It's not cooling properly. The service technician advised replacing the gas regulator at an additional cost of $[redacted], but this did not fix the issue. When I called Norcold directly to speak to a technician, I was redirected back to the service technician for potentially more charges. I'm frustrated by the lack of phone service to address this problem and just need to speak with someone knowledgeable. Thank you for any help you can provide. S.C.

I have a Norcold [redacted] refrigerator with serial number [redacted]1, and I am encountering two related issues. When closing either door of the refrigerator, the latch does not fully engage, resulting in the doors being slightly ajar. This small gap leads to a significant rise in temperature inside the refrigerator. Additionally, the flap seal between the left and right doors drags along the bottom sill of the opening. After researching online, I believe adding a nylon washer to the bottom hinge pin could raise the door enough to clear the bottom sill. I want to confirm if this solution is correct and if Norcold can provide the necessary nylon washers. I plan to raise both the left and right doors if needed. I am eager to receive assistance regarding this matter. - Keith Harris

I recently bought an RV and had Mile High Mobile RV inspect our [redacted] Ford [redacted] Econoline (Diamond). They found a fire hazard on the refrigerator model no. 77G-EG-2 Serial no. [redacted] E and informed me of a recall on it. There is also an issue with the RV 30 AMP power cord that needs replacement due to exposed wires wrapped in electric tape. I own a [redacted] Jayco travel trailer with a Norcold refrigerator, Model N10DCSSL. Since I bought the trailer, I haven't heard or seen the attached fan inside the cool storage compartment turn on. I'm unsure if it should operate periodically for circulation or if it's related to the quick ice buildup in the storage and freezer area. Despite this, the refrigerator is functioning well otherwise, maintaining frozen items in the freezer and keeping the storage area cold. I'm concerned about the excessive ice forming every 30 days without the fan switching on/off. I'm seeking advice on whether this is a normal operation or if I should schedule a service check.
